Printer works great as usual you have to play with it to get the settings right but now it's printing three time faster than my old printer. Buying it at best buy insured it was not damaged as I have seen problem when it was delivered to houses because of bad handling.

very good printer however the bed level is way off but i found a solution to this and you have to print leveling knobs and add the Silicone Solid Bed Mounts, by doing this my bed level is so much better and runs like a champ i love it

Works extremely well right out of the box. The speed is amazing and the prints are very clean and tolerance is very tight.

K1 Max is pretty easy to use out of the package. It has several notable issues, such as the motorboard and extruder, that Creality will replace, but getting a response from them on a $900 machine is ridiculous.

I would've gave it 5 stars because ive seen some incredible sruff made with it. Unfortunately for me it has not been great set up is not that easy it leaves alot to the imagination on if its set up correct. My test print came out good but everything else has looked like spaghetti. I have not printed anything successfully. Very disappointed but still hopeful that i figure out why things are not printed correctly then ill have the printer of my dreams. I thought about returning it immediately but im hopefull i figure itbout...

Got this printer about three weeks ago. printing was good until the prints started having under extrusion issues(small cracks in the print). After about a day trying to figure out what is the issue, I had a complete printer failure. the printer stopped feeding filament. After a couple of days of research. I found a post about the extruder gears having the bearing not fully pressed into the gear. took the extruder apart and found that the gears are misaligned due to that exact issue. I got the bearing pressed into the gear. Assembled it and printing resumed. I noticed some clicking when printing started again but didn't really pay attention to it. About a day later. Printer isn't feeding again. took extruder apart to find a tooth missing from one of the plastic gears. Found all metal gears online and overnighted them. Email Creality that Monday. Took 2 days for response. Multiple emails to get issue resolved. Replacement parts from Creality are going to take 10-20 days to get. I knew this would probably be the case with a company based in China. Which is why i ordered parts myself also. i learned a lot about the printer when having to work on a brand new broken printer. my suggestion is if you buy this, youtube some videos about the extruder and verify that the gears are aligned. overall im still ok with my purchase. It prints great. isnt super loud.

This is a major win for Creality. This machine is awesome, it just builds itself to death. The quality of the print is beyond belief. It is easy to setup and to begin your first build. If you want quality and good size the K2 Plus is the right choice.

I did not buy this on Best Buy, I purchased it from Creality directly, (Best buy is cheaper but was not an option at the time). I have been printing on this for nearly 3 months straight. Outside of normal maintenance, this printer has been rock solid and has not failed me. The slicer that comes with it is very nice as well. This is very fast and accurate. You can be set up and printing easily in 30 minutes. It takes about 14 minutes to print a benchy. One thing I did do is buy a Sunlu filament warmer/holder for a single roll, (see pic) this allows me to feed the filament from the side of the printer. The printer typically feeds from a roll in the back but you can't see it easily from there. Overall you can't go wrong with this printer, plenty of support as well.

Problems with bed mesh, due to a small plate the bed begins to warp, thus causing chaos for the z offset. Input shaping was recently fixed in a firmware update. Bed leveling however is still problematic. The nozzle digs into the bed, and terrible first layer. Creality is aware and will not have a fix until June.

this is my first 3d printer. ive now done 2 complete prints, 1 failed (my fault). i ate with the complaints about the lid on top putting too much pressure on the filament feed into the nozzle, especially because thats such an important portion of the tube. i dont remove the top like suggested because i like minimizing exposures and have really only had an issue when feeding new filament. the printer otherwise is amazing. i have nothing to compare it to but it just works.

I bought this because I didn't like the bed slinger printer I had and the original 3D printer I had was a core XY and I really liked it so I bought this and I'm so glad I went back to core XY. The prints rarely fail, the quality is great and I love the smooth build plate.

Works great I’ve had it for a few months and only troubles I’ve had is on my end when I don’t correctly check the files settings other than that it prints very fast and with the added ironing mode you can set it to prints come out looking really nice would recommend for hobbyist who have had experience with 3d printing cause it can be quite the learning task

IF YOU IGNORE THIS ENTIRE REVIEW, TAKE ONE THING AWAY: BUY THE BEST WARRANTY YOU CAN – YOU WILL NEED IT!
This printer has everything a 3D printing enthusiast could dream of: great size, impressive speed, and solid build quality. Unfortunately, that dream quickly turns into a nightmare. After just 50 hours of light use, the printer refused to work because the bed wasn’t leveled due to the low-quality screws used. To fix it, you have to unscrew everything and add these silly little cushions under the screws to push them up slightly—frankly, an absurd solution for an $800 flagship printer.
Do I know how to fix it? Yes. But am I willing to spend hours on this kind of tedious repair for a high-end product? Absolutely not. If they want to charge premium prices, fine—but customers pay for convenience, not for a DIY repair kit. Other brands send technicians for free when their flagship products break down. Creatility, on the other hand, asks for a thousand dollars and expects you to fix their defects yourself.
Every review YouTuber will tell you this printer is great—and for the first 24 hours, it really is. But keep in mind, they unbox it and start reviewing it right away. Any consumer will be disappointed to realize that their favorite reviewers only used it for less than a day. As someone who’s used it for nearly 50 hours, save yourself the disappointment unless you plan to protect yourself and invest in a pricey warranty.
Creatility is innovative and always ahead of the market, but sadly, they’re also ahead of themselves. They create amazing products that seem built to last… until they break within a month and leave you wasting hours on repairs and maintenance. Creatility will never shake its reputation for being the "cool brand" that sells junk that breaks instantly. Meanwhile, Bambu Labs might be a little slower to innovate, but their products at least hold up over time.

Equipped with automatic bed leveling aided by LIDAR and an AI camera, the K1 Max simplifies the setup process, allowing for a more hands-off approach to printing.
he Creality K1 Max is an excellent 3D printer for those who value speed, build volume, and print quality. While it may not be the best choice for absolute beginners, it’s a fantastic machine for users who have some experience with 3D printing and are looking to upgrade to a faster, more capable printer
