It has a good amount of rubber to keep your laptop from sliding, but sometimes, I'll sit with a pillow under my legs. The angle this creates is too much to keep the Macbook Pro (a very slippery laptop) from sliding down. Also, the cushion underneath is like a bean bag. You have to fluff it to keep the styrofoam balls evenly dispersed.
The only thing that would make this better is a lip at the bottom to keep the laptops from sliding down. It could even be optional, like the tabs in the back (which are great for creating the most amount of airflow).
