sound is as expected though not as full as I had hoped

Even though I wear hearing aids, this is a sound card that is REAL!!

Great sound card. Crisp quality, mostly easy to install. Installation takes a bit longer on a large CPU (we were afraid it wouldn't end up being compatible), but it works. We're not "sound snobs" and only got it for our computer that didn't come with a sound card, so we probably bought way more sound card than we needed and don't know about specific details, but we think it's a great product.

my on board audio was craping out so I installed an audio card from creative. I have used a lot of them in the years before onboard audio. it's always the best way to go for sound. what a difference. .

I needed a high end reasonably priced sound card for my new rig, and Creative and Best Buy had just what I needed. For the price, you can't beat the features and accessories.

I was looking for something not too expensive with the right features, was replacing an EMU card, and this one gers the job done.

When don't these guys push out a good product? Every time I buy Creative, I get an excellent product that stands the test of time. This card is great, pumps out top of the line quality and has awesome features to boot. The Sound Blaster control panel yields a whopping 11-band equalizer, with a mixer, different encoders, CrystalVoice, Scout Mode (for better hearing enemies in video games), SBX Pro Studio among other great features. It has everything you need and want from a sound card and looks fantastic inside your PC as well. Stop thinking and just buy it.

Great sound card great price, it is rather large so make sure you have the space in your comp case

Got a great price on this sound card and love the sound blaster that I can control and plug extra things into on my desk.

This external PCI Express soundcard produces richer sound with greater detail than an onboard sound module from your motherboard will.

Best Buy had the best price on this card, so I made the purchase. A week later, they had it at a better price, I contacted them and they immediately adjusted the new price. Great sound card at a super price!

It has pretty much every feature you can think of. The control module is an especially welcome addition as I use wired headphones sometimes.

Hardware installation was only issue. Worked final after re-seating card in motherboard a couple of times since it was not seen by PC.
