I have absolutely no problems with Mint, BUT I was traveling more regularly to an area that ATT services better than Mint, and I was definitely not disappointed. It ended up being a little more expensive than Mint, but that's fine- I need the reception.

another prepaid company

The SIM card I ordered online could not be activated and I needed to replace it with another which worked fine. This was not an issue because I'd had it shipped to a Best Buy store as part of a bundle and they just grabbed another off the rack. One thing to note is that there is a service fee to pay a cricket bill in a cricket store -- they want you to pay in order to pay... just pay online or with app.
