This game is a banger. For those that grew up playing Jrpgs this is a great throwback. It has more active combat where you have to time your attacks and your blocks which can be a pain for certain people. The game has a fairly good story that is whimsical and reminiscent of something like Chrono Trigger though it doesn't quite reach those highs. One thing that hurts this game is the loading time. There's significant loading time on the PS5 version of around 5 or so seconds to get in and out of battle. It's even worse on the switch at 15-25 seconds to enter and exit battle. The game is good but isn't as good as many classics before it. One thing this game does have is a sort of Steven Universe vibe and it makes fun of several rpg tropes which can make the game more enjoyable depending if you like certain archetypes.

Great art, good story, and solid rpg mechanics. A couple of game design choices make the game drag towards the end. I recommend this if you like jrpgs.

A very impressive game in both design and execution. You use the past, present, and future to solve puzzles and fight enemies in a cleverly designed turn based RPG. All NPCs are voice acted, and the visuals are excellent. The characters fall flat at times and it's weird the way they chose to display the time mechanic. Having said that, this game is still terrific. It's a sleeper indie hit that will easily give you dozens of enjoyable hours and reasons to replay the game if you choose to do so. 8/10

The game is absolutely gorgeous with a some great core turn base gameplay. The time mechanic is a cool and interesting addition but does take a bit of time to get used to. Music is great and characters are refreshing.

The artwork and visual is a real treat for the eyes. This is like a love letter for those who enjoyed JRPG’s like Chrono Trigger. Gameplay is engaging and rewarding too.

I wasn’t too sure about purchasing this game at first since I didn’t like the trailer but I decided to get it when it went on sale in Best Buy and we gave it a try and it’s actually pretty good and entertaining. I’m glad we got it.

Do you miss the old classic JRPGs? This game has plenty of the classic spirit with modern improvements and a twist of time. The art style is gorgeous and your decisions can change the outcome of the world. Highly recommend

I think if you're into turn based RPGs in general, you'd like this game and appreciate the time mechanic introduced in this game. The hand drawn art is really nice too, but the story is just ok. This is a great game on sale.

Overhyped, as usual, but a mediocre game can still be a good time.

such an odd game, everything being abnormally weak to water and the plot being sometimes cut off or unexplained, along with some moves taking a lot of setup making them worthless. Some fights are just you healing up with two characters and trying to fight with the other one.
