This slow cooker is beautiful, practical and cooks evenly. And most importantly perfect for making dishes to go. The locking lid makes travel stress free. The size is perfect for most casseroles i.e.green bean casseroles, or baked chicken dishes, and the cookbook that comes with it explains how. The inset dish is heavy but the lightweight durable frame makes it easy to lift and carry. Also when traveling the extra weight helps to keep it from shifting. You can also use the inset dish to bake in the oven, like a sweet potato casserole, then transport with the frame and locking lid , and once you have reached your destination you can plug it in and reheat on warm if needed - saving your hostess' oven for her entrees and sides. If making soups or chili the shape is not conducive - deep round would be better but for the holiday bake and take this is superb! Well worth the money and easy clean up! I would have give it 5 stars if the inset was not as heavy and it was suitable for soups and stews. But other than that, it is a five star product.

This crockpot is just the right size for certain dishes I like to make, cooks evenly & cleans up easy.

Great product. Cooks well and evenly. Great for doing casseroles. I've also done stuffed peppers and cabbages and lasagne. All came out great!

This unit cooks evenly, cleans up easily and stores in a compact space.

Crockpot cooked well, but don't touch the sides as they get very hot and you will burn yourself

This is the perfect addition to my cookware collection. It cooks great, however the lid is tricky when first figuring out. It is not terribly deep either so if you need it for a large family it wont be big enough.

I bought one as a wedding gift and one for myself. I've used it twice in 2 weeks. Cooks evenly, and love the 9x13 size.
