Good basic Portable Record Player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, who has been missing her collection of 70's LPs which have been languishing in a box in our garage for decades. Our house layout will not allow a dedicated turntable, so this was a great alternative. This unit is smaller and lighter than I expected-both pluses. It is very attractive and unobtrusive, so it does not stand out when in storage mode. Two things to be aware of with this unit-it does not get particularly loud and while it has an automatic shutoff at the end of the record, it does not automatically return the tonearm to the rest. I knew both of these when I purchased the unit. Hooking this up to our surround sound system makes the whole experience truly memorable. We have yet to try its MP3 recording capabilities, but will update this review when we have.

Great little player

It has aux outputs which will give you a fuller sound, but it's great to pull out the 45's and remember those days long past.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality but the speakers are just a bit shallow. The speakers are missing the low frequencies so if you are leaving on the home I would recommend a good set of powered speakers.

It's portable and goes where she goes with friends. Decent sound but if you want more then simply connect the player to speakers. Very easy to use.

Died within a week

Unfortunately, that period of time was only about a week, as the unit decided it didn't want to turn on again. My guess is a wiring issue, but I'm not sure. I wil say that Best Buy did an amazing job on letting me return it. I returned it without the box and they returned the full amount back to my card.
