This is a great game that will keep you entertained for a long time, it has a lot of crosswords and many other games like word search and anagrams, i really like how easy are the first levels but the advanced ones are really challenging. The downside is that if you already own the original crosswords for DS, I don't see much innovation or features, but just look at it as buying new crosswords, for me it was not worth the full price so I waited until it was on sale, definitely a must have if you like crosswords, anagrams and word search.

I thought the game was good. There are other things in the game besides crosswords... anagrams, word searches and the word of the day feature. I wish it had some sort of leader board feature to see how well you are doing on puzzles vs your friends or other 3DS players. Overall, it's a fun game for a casual player.

Very enjoyable game. Thought it would just be crosswords, but it also included word searches. It has a neat progression system unlocking harder difficulties as you progress through the puzzles. Solid deal when I bought it for about $5.

First I should disclose that I bought this game when it was a Deal of the Day at a really, really low price. Because I spent so little, my opinion of the game is pretty generous. If you're a fan of crosswords--and I would imagine you are if you're considering this game--there is a ton of content here, both on the game card itself and updated regularly through SpotPass. That said, for a full retail game, the presentation feels generic and lacks the kind of charm you would expect from a first-party Nintendo release. There are no graphics or animations to speak of, and the music is typical elevator-style background noise If I had paid full price for this game, I would have been disappointed; as it is, though, it's a fun collection of crosswords and other word puzzles for my 3DS that cost me not much more than a plain old crossword book.

I am not a fan of crosswords, but getting hints while playing has made it fun for me. The game will warn you when a wrong letter is entered, plus you can select to show additional hints, a letter or the complete word with a hit to your solving time. For hardcore crossword players, you can disable the whole helping system in the harder puzzle modes; however they will still be a little disappointed with some of the clues. The challenge is always there as you try to solve the crossword in the less amount of time. Other game modes are included like word finder and anagrams. I really like the word of the day feature: the game will display a daily word with its definition, but then the word is used to start a short crossword where spaces are set, but no clues aren't provided. The goal is to enter words of the correct length to complete the puzzle. Portable games should allow you to stop and continue playing whenever you want, and Crosswords Plus will allow you to do this with a few clicks. Zoom to a specific area of a crossword or word finder need to be better, and the handwriting recognition has flaws (usually confusing 'o' with 'b'). Furthermore, the handwriting recognition software will not improve over time (it doesn't learn). I have been playing this game for a couple of weeks spending a couple of hours daily, and I haven't completed even 1% of all the puzzles, plus there are downloadable weekly puzzles which are way more challenging than the ones that came with the game. In sum, this is a game with a large amount of content that will please puzzle fans in a wide age range. The controls could be more intuitive and should be improved if a sequels is planned.

I would recommend this for anyone who likes to work crossword puzzles.

I bought this one to take with me to doctors visits or anywhere I will be waiting for awhile. Its pretty solid and fun I haven't played a lot of it so not sure how much it repeats questions but definitely worth the 4 dollars I got it for.

older kids will love this game. Good for adults who like to use the Nintendo 3DS XL

This Game for the nintendo 3ds is a really great game!! It will keep you occupied for hours!! If you are on the fence about buying this don't hesitate buy the game you will not regret it!!

The content seems rather bare although there are a lot of crossword puzzles of varying difficulty. For pros, it'll probably be a bit boring because you have to unlock the harder difficulties. The writing recognition seems a bit unreliable at times, but there's no penalty related to that. I'm not really into crossword puzzles, so I probably wouldn't pay more than $5 for this game. Would be better as a download, but Nintendo is never going to lower its price from $30 on the eShop.

Crosswords are not for everyone, but if you're into them then this is an essential game to your 3ds library. Enjoy because there is lots of it.

This is one of those games where the reviews can't really decide for you if you want to buy it or not. It's exactly what it advertises... a giant collection of digital crossword puzzles. If that's appealing to you, then grab this because the interface is smooth and it's probably cheap. You can't really ask for much more than that.

My son loves playing this game. The price was really cheap

This is a decent game if you can get it on sale. The handwriting recognition isn't the most accurate, so that takes some of the fun out of the game. To many easy level puzzles to wade throw. Makes up for these short comings with DLC puzzles.

This is my most awesomest crossword puzzle game. As easy or as hard as you want.
