Reliable, fast, compact
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as space-saving as an NVMe drive, but if like me you've run out of M.2 slots on your motherboard, nothing wrong with going old school. I can't tell the difference in load times between games I've installed on this drive vs on my NVMe drives. Sequential reads are not as fast, but real-world load speeds are practically the same. And at 2/3rds the price, I'll take it. Only downside is SATA drives needing power and data cables instead of just plugging into your motherboard.

Works well for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a spare gaming drive(filled my old one up) and it works great. Fast, if any, load screens. Graphics load to my gpu faster, and plenty of room for more games. And not too pricey!

The drive is great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid drive, no pun intended. Its decent in performance if you want a fast boot drive but dont want to pay for an m.2 drive. I got the 2TB for additional storage. There are better but this is a great value imo.

Works Fine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, this isn't new technology anymore. This perfoms as I expected. It was easy to install. I haven't bothered benchmarking it or anything. It seems to work flawlessly. I extra appreciated the convenience of picking it up and not waiting fir an unknown delivery time. I was able to get back up and running more quickly that way.

Good upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an old SSD of half the size that was accumulating dead space. I reformatted it as soon as i got it (i wanted a Linux OS to live on it, so i cant say much about ease of use, save for that it worked). Good size and speed for the price

So far so good.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reasonably priced. Reasonably fast. Hopefully reasonably reliable (time will have to tell with that). These seem to compete with Samsung's Evo line and so far, I cant tell a difference. I'm running two of these in raid 1 on an UnRaid server and have yet to notice any problems. Wish they were a bit faster but they're not slow by any means.

Great purchase, on sale.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is super easy to install, plus a few tutorials online make it even easier. You only notice the speed with games running from the drive (downloaded), booting up 25%-30% faster and some even by 50%. Even when booting up the system is a little bit faster and super quiet. 100% recommend an SSD especially this with a 5 year warranty, good quality and price.

Worth the extra cost.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro, 1. 2tb of storage. 2. For an SSD great build quality. 3. Over 700tb of write endurance. 4. A TLC NAND unlike these never drives that use a less reliable QLC. 5. An actually SDD with a DRAM cache. 6. A 5 year warranty from a reputable manufacturer. 7. Great for long writes. 8. Idea for laptops and desktop motherboards that don't support M.2 drives. Con, 1. Expensive compared to a lot of other SDD drives for the same capacity. 2. Under most normal workloads you won't see a real world difference compared to the cheaper DRAM-less QLC drives. 3. M.2 NVME drives tend to be a lot faster for a cheaper price and use less power and space. I used up all my M.2 slots and I didn't want to oversaturate my PCIE bandwidth so I got this drive and it works great for me. It's not as fast as my NVME drives, but with having a DRAM Cache I don't notice much of a difference when I do file transfers and long writes. I don't regret this purchase, but the typical user may want to buy something cheaper if they don't require fast long transfer speeds.

Better than hdd for additional storage !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this sata ssd as additional storage for my games and it works great. It is much faster than an old hdd and more reliable. If you have an old laptop that needs a storage replacement or additional storage for your desktop this works great ! Very reliable and fast enough for what I Use it .

Fast drive, great price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to upgrade from my HDD, primarily used for photo editing. The difference in speed is night and day. I can edit large resolution photos and have little to no lag in times. Previously, I would have to wait 10 seconds to load each picture. I have another Crucial drive that has lasted me for more than 5 years without any problems. I would recommend Crucial over any vendor, except maybe Samsung.
