    Used this SSD to replace the mechanical drive in my laptop. Works great: the computer now boots in 15 seconds; previously it took several minutes.

    I bought two of these drives. One works perfectly, the other failed after one day. So, one 5-star and one 1-star makes for the 3-star rating. Both were given as Christmas gifts, and due to some after-Christmas travel I missed out on the Best Buy return deadline. Wish I had bought it elsewhere with a Jan. 31st return deadline. Now I am trying to get the failed drive replaced by Crucial. However, I assume the failure is just a fluke and believe that this drive is a generally a decent product in general. I have used several of them in the past with good results.

    excellent solid state drive and with the second drive I purchased and 64 MBs of RAM... my pc is a s fast as a Ferrari!
