Installed this drive as an upgrade to a 1 TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive. After cloning the old drive, the system came up as expected except that it was faster due to the SSD access speeds. Thus far, no issues with the drive and the system performance has been greatly improved.

This item has completely renovated my laptop! It is working like brand new again and maybe even a little faster! I am happy that I came to Best Buy to get my laptop back in shape because the service was so good and the product was the best thing for my laptop.

my pc was being super slow and i needed soemthing to speed it up because i had a hard drive instead of a ssd. very relible and helped my computer speed and quality of how good my pc can be.

I'm a computer tech and I use Crucial SSDs exclusively. Work great, hold up as far as durability and easy to clone. The nice thing with these drives is that you get a free copy of Acronis software that can be used to clone it over. Just run that in recommended mode and it works great.

this Crusial 2tb SSD was available at the store and worked very well when formatting to migrate my windows 11 home from an old ssd!! i recommend Crusial brands of ssd and memort rams!! they are snoother and works well with windows 11!!

Crucial SSDs are consistently class-leading or at least in the top 3 in terms of quality and low failure rates. This model, in particular, is slightly more expensive than the average SATA SSD, but don't be deceived by cheaper options, this one is worth it. Not only have we never had an MX500 fail (anecdotal, but we've had hundreds of them) but they're also one of the few SATA SSDs that include a DRAM cache. A lot of newer drives, even NVME varieties that offer higher overall throughput than SATA would allow, don't have that same snappy feel that these "older" models do, and that's really down to this one detail - the caching of drive contents on a dedicated DRAM pool. Especially considering the outstanding pricing of SSDs everywhere, it's not worth saving 10 or 20 dollars for far worse performance and reliability. We go with these almost every time.

Not much more to be said. Ive bough a bunch of these over the years and they are the most stable SATA ssds i have used. Since they’re TLC and have a DRAM cache, they will keep their speed for much longer compared to DRAM-less or QLC ssds. Could not recommend more

Gave my old computer new life. Boots faster, runs more stable, more storage that original HD. Happy with it.

They did the best putting it in but i saw one thing false with the greek squad. They keep going on about someing i need but i didn't really need it. I visit other pc companies and they said everything you have is fine.

Very performant drive and also works perfectly in my Synology NAS. I had a failed drive of a previous generation of Crucial MX series and replacement through the manufacturer warranty was a breeze.

This replaced the hard drive in my 6 year old laptop. It now operates like a new one. Previously, my wife had suggested buying a new laptop and I am glad now that I didn't. All I needed was to purchase a usb to sata cable, and I easily cloned everything to the new one.

At the time, this was a Black Friday purchase for $67. Crucial has done me right for a few years now with my OS drives so I bought two of these 2tb drives for games and movies and they’re great!

Added to my new MSI laptop which was also purchased from Best Buy. The laptop had a 1tb drive already in it, but offered a slot for a SATA drive so I took advantage. This will give me plenty of room for video files, 3d renderings, etc.

Has be the most reliable ssd I’ve ever used. My only down fall was when I got home and didn’t realize there was no sata cable I had to go back and grab one but that was my fault!

Got it on sale, so it was an insane price for the value. I have it installed in my pc and it works great and now I have tons of space for all my files. Awesome!
