Started having problems within a year . Kept getting blue screen of death (whea uncorrectable )

Very very slow. You will not get the advertised specs unless you are transferring extremely small files. For anyone who wants to transfer large files or plans to use this for creative applications like video editing, look elsewhere. I wish I would have spent a little more for a better one instead of going for the cheapest one. I am trying to talk to customer support to see why that is the case.

I had crash issues with a crucial MX500 SSD back then, it would crash randomly. After a decade, I decided to try this brand again hoping they may have fixed the issues but looks like they still haven't figured that out. This is the rig I built in 2019 I hadn't crashed once except for some random AMD driver crashes which just flashed the screen black and white and that's it, I was still able to continue back to my windows and continue working. Today I was playing COD and my system just froze, not even able to move the mouse or use the keyboard it just froze and it was the same system crash I recalled that I used to have with this Crucial brand - 500MX SSD. I already have the heatsink on it and have monitored the temperature stayed within 47 C. I would stay away from this brand if you had experienced random system freezes in the past. I made a grave mistake buying products from this brand, I will never ever buy anything from them going forward. Lesson learned.

I bought 2 of this, one gave out less than a week on my windows 11 gaming laptop, it erased everything out of nowhere it would not boot back into windows died out, the other would not Work with my Asus Rog Zephyrus when i would clone my disk, but other brands would with no problem, i don’t recommend this Brand

I don't want to give wrong or misleading information but I'm returning mine today because of 88MB/s write speeds. Happens only when the drive is 25% full or more. Does not happen to my other drives and my 10 year old dead ssd is moving files faster. Was considering keeping it just for game storage but there are cheaper much better options for that. My 980 pro dips down to ~700MB/s and takes 10 minutes to move a TB. This crucial drive drops down to 65MB/s and takes 8 hours to move a TB.

I wish I could review this product, however an unfortunate incident causing it to fly out of my backpack while on my motorcycle saw to it that I didn’t get a chance to use it.

GARBAGE.... data rate is slower than a 1908 hard drive... going back

Already dead. Need to see how good they and/or Best Buy keep their warranty

Easy and fast install. Seems to perform well. Good value

This SSD is fast (maxes out on a Mac Thunderbolt external drive enclosure at around 2700 MB/sec, would be even faster on a PC / Motherboard) and reasonably priced. I am excited for the 8TB models someday, but for now... 4TB is great!

Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Seems to be fast, but not an amazing upgrade over the 2.5” Ssd that I already had. Ultimately, it doubled my space, and that’s what I needed.

The device itself was great so I will give it 5 stars, what bothered me the most was how BAD the package was. I was afraid of using it just by the way it arrived.
