Got this to expand storage on my gaming PC and it's my new boot drive. It's super fast. Not a massive difference from my old MX500 but I like having less SATA cables to deal with. My mobo comes with a heatsink so I haven't noticed any heat issues with this. Great bang for your buck.

Crucials 1tb SSD, was installed in an MSI 17"katana w/512gb SSD. After install the speeds for booting up is noticeable, transferring files is extremely quick. The storage gives plenty of room for any files you may have. All in all can't go wrong for price to performance. Definitely made to please.

The 4TB Crucial P3 I received has been working perfectly for what I've been wanting, a large non-HDD storage drive for files I'm not going to edit for the most part while also having plenty of extra space to add more in the future. Been in the process of transferring data off my old WDBAAZ0020HNC-NSRN (WD Caviar Black 2TB HDD), and the only slow part about it has been the file read limits of the HDD.
While I understand that DRAM would be more preferable to have on a NVMe drive, I'm not using this drive as my OS or gaming drive, just data storage for files that aren't going to be changed much after being saved to it. As such, the only complaint I'd have on paying 220 USD for a 4TB Gen3 NVMe w/o DRAM is that it's price/GB ratio is more akin to a 1TB or 2TB Gen3 NVMe with DRAM rather than w/o DRAM. That said, good luck finding a similar quality 4TB Gen3 NVMe, with or w/o DRAM, at price that comes close to matching this one at 220 USD.

Painless install and data transfer. Performs as expected though it does run a little warm. Good performance at least a tier or two above the sale price I paid for it which is the best "feature" for my application :)

Best Drive For The Money

Great NVMe Drive for the money considering it performs very close to the Samsung Evo 970. I have experienced no heating problems with regular usage scenarios even though I use no heat sink and the Drive is located directly beneath my GPU. Installing the Crucial Software is a plus but is not necessary to run the Drive at an acceptable level for most users, but it is useful in order to gain the most performance possible. Boot Ups are fast, Programs open in less than one second and games have minimal load times compared to my old Main Drive that this Unit replaced. I have no complaints or critiques of this Product and hopefully will not have to make use of the generously long Warranty on this Crucial Drive.

Replaced a non-NVMe SSD with this one, for speed and size. I needed this to run some games to maintain decent frames/sec. It works well. Ran a few diagnostic tools and the specs were right on.

I bought this for a specialized machine that needs high-speed IO and couldn't be happier. Great price and great performance. Can't go wrong! Almost prefer this over the Samsung model.

~3400 MBPS read speed and 2500 MBPS write speed via crystaldiskmark8.
Heats up to 63 - 67 deg C under load. Makes the bottom of my ideapad flex 5 ryzen 7 a little hotter than expected. Not too much of a problem in power saver mode. Got it for a good price. Therefore, went for it.

Excellent NVMe SSD when compared to other brands at same price. Was never into Crucial SSDs or their memory until recently when other brands prices went up or they stripped out quality components to make items lower price or appear to be the same as previous models. As for performance, I didn't go all out, but some random tests new installed showed its performance is right at the 3400 MB/s mark. I also have my own SSD heatsink mounted and this was used in a z370 mobo with 9900K with Win10 64
