Top quality NVME ssd, for a great price. Speeds up a Windows pc immensely, especially coming from a hard drive. this is perfect for small, compact and efficient builds, and the 1tb is necessary for modern game installs as well. Fast, reliable, and bang-for-buck! Installation varies depending on motherboard type - make sure you have the right motherboard screws as the module does not come with screws.

Have been using it for weeks now and it works great. It's fast. Installed easily. If there was anything I could say that would have made it better it would be to include the tiny screw needed to secure it to the motherboard. Luckily I had a pack of screws from another motherboard I installed in a build last year that had an extra screw that I used for this installation.

Fast SSD, omg. More than I need for just my first person shooter games and web surfing. Crucial is also a very reputable name brand and should reliable as well. Good price too. Good alternative to Western Digital. WD is known for making good hard drive but not chips. Crucial makes good chips.

Used as my primary game storage, it really does help with the bootup times of my games compared to the HDDs I use to have everything stored in. The massive TBW limit it has can have me rotate installing and uninstalling massive games on it regularly without worrying of it wearing out.

Very fast and temps stay fairly low. Replaced an Intel P660 as my main drive. Flashed over the OS with Macirum Reflect and it fired right up. Noticeably faster boot and load times. System specs as follows: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 64 Gb DDR4 4000 RAM @ 3600mhz ASUS ROG Strix 3090 OC Gigabyte X570 Gaming mobo.

i got this on sale for $80 im pretty sure and its been a great m.2 so far, if you have a heat spreader or a heatsink you can toss on it i would recommend doing so because it can get a lil toasty if your utilizing it 100% but its not necessary unless you arent upgrading drives for the next 10 years

I have bought two of these 1TB drives for two separate laptops. Both have been great with good speeds and storage size for a reasonable price, M.2 ssd are miles ahead of the old school hard drives that come in cheaper laptop models, put one of these in instead you won’t regret it.

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this SSD based on the excellent sales price for the 1 TB of storage. It seems to be faster that the OEM SSD my laptop included. I only rated it as Good quality because I am not sure what would be required to label it as Excellent quality.

Using as a external drive with a USB3 adapter

I'm currently using this in a Sabrent NVMe to USB3 adapter. Seems to run faster than a comparable external SSD drive like a Samsung 860 EVO, but the caveat is that it draws noticeably more power and gets warm fast. For that reason it may not work if you plug it into an USB3 hub w/o supplemental power. Plugged directly into a USB3 port, no problems noted.

I got this for a new PC build and it works wonders. I boot up in less than 30 seconds. It's large enough that I can put my entire OS on it, and even a number of games. Just double check your motherboard for compatibility.

This was a good upgrade. I had a standard SATA SSD that was ok, but it did not have space for my needs. This was easy to set up and was faster than my old one. To those who think of buying this, just make sure to check the price as it sometimes changes.

I've been using the P5 as my boot drive in a Dell Precision T3620 workstation that I've repurposed as a Hackintosh. Worked out of the box without requiring any disk controller firmware updates, etc. Great performance and capacity for the price.
