I bought this to use as a secondary data drive on an I9-9900K computer running Linux. It has worked fine from day one and gives the advertised access speeds.

Using this as a secondary drive in a PC I built for work. It mostly backs up the main drive but I do have some less important and temporary files stored on there. Speed is very good. I'm not quite getting the maximum rated speeds (2800 Read) but it wasn't a super expensive drive. I also tested while mining thru Norton and playing music in the background. That may have affected the speed somewhat. I've used many Crucial drives over the years. I did have one fail on me early on (actually the first SSD I ever purchased) but all I had to do was full format that drive and it worked again. It's been 6 or 7 years and it's still working for me. Crucial makes good stuff.

This was a really good deal on a fast 1 TB nvme drive. There have been lots of online reports of the drive running hot however I have heatsinks on my motherboard that cover my M.2 slots so no issues of temp with me.

Got this p5 crucial on sale for 80 bucks and it is wicked fast. Would use as an expansion drive or for OS& applications. Well worth the money spent to get thise extra few FPS or for video/photo editing.

Easy to install. Transfer from HDD to this SSD using the software included instructions was a breeze. Very fast boot. I would definitely buy this again. Also bought another crucial internal ssd 2.5" to expand.

Easy to install and no issues out of the box. Nice thing about Crucial is they have a free program to clone your other drive to this one. Speed is a definite plus over my previous sata ssd.

Works well, can store nearly a TB of data at high speeds. I wish it came with the fastener screw though, I had to order one from Amazon to install it on my motherboard since it was an additional drive, not a replacement.

Bought 2 of these for a couple gaming PC's I built and these are very fast and stable excellent for gaming with great read write speeds highly recommend these for any starage needs and great price as well!!!

At $90 a piece, these drives are a great value for the speed and brand. Download Crucial Storage Executive and enable Momentum Cache for better speeds (per Reddit comment).

Competitive price for under $100 and fast speeds over 3200 read and write. A nice size, so I can put the OEM on the shelf for future restores and cloning in less than 15 minutes.

Very fast, easy to install and set up. I added this as a second SSD to a Dell G7 17. This SSD looks like it's a completely home-grown Micron product; it has a Micron-branded controller instead of Marvell.

Works, fast speed and easy installation. Wasn't able to get the advertise speed of 3400 mb/s using CrystalDiskMark (actually got 2947 mb/s) but still satisfy with it as it will be use mainly as storage.

Fast and affordable drive. Needed extra space for my Steam games and this drive worked out perfectly. Would've been nice if Crucial had provided a screw for the drive, though.

Crucial P5 1TB SSD is a an excellent mid range SSD at a very good price point, Performance parameters are at the top end for this class of SSD. Highly recommend...

My SSD suddenly and completely failed late at night. Checking the BB web site I found this product in stock at my closest store. Since to existing card failed I needed to do a clean OS install and set everything back up. This SSD worked perfectly without making any changes to my motherboard settings and the install was completed quickly. I had the computer completely rebuilt and configured in less than 24 hours, including 8 hours of sleep and 8 hours of work the next morning. Since this was my primary media server, most of my files were on separate hard drives, so a quick OS install and a few applications and I was good to go.

Got for a great price! Super fast, easy install. Love this little drive. Not the fastest "pro" model but a great driver for applications or gaming. It's more than enough!

I have used these units on server loads at a data center running 24/7. They have proven to be reliable and fast under loads that were not even designed for. Great NVMe drives.

Runs at hotter temps compared to other SSDs but does its job as a performance drive. To be honest, would only buy this on a sale as I did.
