I love this SSD very small and very fast. I use it with my MacBook Pro for editing on Final Cut Pro and no dropped frames like other HD

I can't believe how small a 4TB drive can be nowadays. Great for transferring large files and taking them on the go.

It loads quickly, transfers files fast between the computer hard drive and external SSD, and opens/loads individual files quickly too. I do have an issue often when I want to eject the SSD before unplugging it where it will say it's in use, but all files and apps are closed, but I can't figure out what is running and preventing it from ejecting properly.

Its crazy how much the Form Factor has shrunk in the matter of a few years. This is the size of an AirTag almost! No issue with Transfer Speeds either

Great external SSD. I was able to transfer videos and pictured at the top speed from my laptop. I moved over 5 GB of date in like 5 seconds. Pretty awesome. I probably didn't need 4 TB, but i won't run out of space for years.

Surprising ultra compact 4 TB SSD

This drive was a pleasant surprise. I have been using another popular brand, but some certificates and sale pricing made this a no-brainer. The size is very compact, and the handy cut-out/access light on the corner could make for a spot to put a strap or tether to keep it attached. The speeds are right where they're advertised to be, but that is all dependent on your device's USB port speed, as well as the proper cable being used. All in all, a great value for a 4TB ultra portable SSD.

Replaced a 4TB GRAID with this. Given the age of the drive I needed to buy a few plug adapters, but that was no problem getting installed and all the data transferred. Amazing technology! Highly recommend.

The quality is outstanding, from the materials used to the overall construction. It feels durable and well-made, inspiring confidence that it will last.

I'm puzzled by the "Pro" designation. I would have expected it to mean the transfer speed that the X10 series has (nearly double what this has). But this is sufficient for my needs and I didn't want to spend the extra amount for the X10. The small form factor of this is its best feature. I have several 4TB external SSD's (Crucial X8 and some other brands) all of which are significantly larger than this. It is preformatted to the exFAT file system, which should suit most needs. The included USB-C cable is about 9 inches long. If you use another cable, make sure it (as well as the port on your computer or other device) supports the SSD's transfer speed, otherwise your transfer speeds will be slower.

Mainly used as music and photo storage on an apple macbook air. I didn't encounter compatibility issues with software. Uploads and retreivals are flawless. Power comes from the usb-c connection to the mac. Extremely portable. My second one already. The other is for camera/video setup.
