Customers find value in the Cube's affordability, ease of use, and compatibility with both Android and Apple devices. Many appreciate its VR capabilities and the augmented reality experiences it offers, although some note that many apps are not free. The Cube's sensitivity to light is also a recurring concern for some users.

Good VR intro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is amazing how the merge cube turns into various different games and puzzles. It is entertaining to use with your phone in your hands. However, I ran into issues when you using the cube with a VR headset. It was not a natural fit for me and I don’t see how getting the the cube and a VR headset makes any sense. The cube is a great intro into VR, but I do not feel that the VR cube combo worked well for me.

Ok, I'm Sold!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this was a joke when I first opened it up, a little foam block that looks like a chewtoy. But I loaded several of the free apps from miniverse.io and WOW! All of a sudden I'm holding the Earth in my hand instead of a cube. Or a skeleton, or a game. Really cool! Moving or rotating the cube changes the view. The cube works in either phone mode or VR goggle mode, so you don't have to have goggles to use it, and it can be used with tablets for a larger (or shared) image. Obviously, the ultimate success will depend on whether they can continue to provide content, but I think they have a real winner on their hands.

Cube companion
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cube is used with VR/AR Goggles. This device and companion use your phone as a screen It' wasn't riveting but was the better part of the goggles and a must if you buy the goggles. You get different items projected where the cube is changing the visual presentation. You can actually virtually touch and move things around.

Good Concept for Holograms
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was pretty straightforward. My only gripe is that the website they refer you visit instructs you to download apps that are required in order to use the product. Every link I clicked on took me to a paid app. I had to search for apps on my on in the Google PlayStore in order to find some that were free.

Must have with Merge Goggles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my favorite thing to use with the Merge VR Goggles. I loved the games that were available and it totally makes the experience interactive. I had some issues with the goggles and getting them into focus and with the viewing angle, but when working right the cube games were great. I would recommend a darker room. Everything is visible around the cube and it can be a little distracting. Make sure that you have some room, but this can be a great 360 degree experience in many of the games. If you have the Merge VR Goggle, this is a must.

Great toy for kids and adults
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just spent a joyful hour doing something with no redeeming value - nice! And this is so inexpensive - I bet a lot of people are getting one this Christmas. I think I'm most comfortable just using my phone with the Cube (you don't need the Merge goggles) but some of the "games" might be better using vr/ar goggles. The Cube is lightweight with a soft, tactile feel. Once your camera has focused on it it turns into moving objects, color-changing surfaces, and fire! This toy is totally recommended.

Neat Idea, but...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Cube is a neat idea. Getting it set up was easy after registering it on their website and it looks neat through the Merge VR googles. We tried 4 or 5 of the free apps and some were pretty interesting, but not enough to make me want to spend money on any of the apps, although I guess I'll have to shell out on a couple to see if maybe that's where the real quality is. I will say my 10 year old grand daughter really enjoyed it and it was fun watching her use it, not knowing what she was seeing through the googles. The only annoying part of the cube is every time we use it I get an email but haven't found a way to prevent that yet.

VR Cube
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what it's supposed to do, which is show VR on the cube, but it's basically a square piece of foam. You will need the VR goggles or your phone to make the cube work.

Wow. Where was this when I was a kid
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is awesome. The images are amazing. My kids love using it. It is sturdy construction yet soft. I feel like my kids won’t beak it the first time they handle it. Very impressed with the quality nd why it can do. I can’t wait to see more apps developed to take advantage of this technology. Pretty cool when you can zoom in to the body parts and learn more about them and spin it 360 to see all sides. Love it.

Fantastic add on item!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure what to expect from this item, but it integrates extremely well with the Merge VR goggles! It's a combination game controller and whatever anyone decides it could be in their program. It's a "cube" with unique coding on each side that is recognized by the program in question and functions as an interactive piece of the game/demo/simulation! It really adds value to the VR goggles.

It's okay, use with Merge Goggles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Merge Cube is meant to be used in conjunction with the Merge Goggles, which are sold separately. I guess the patterns on the cube allow apps to take advantage of the VR/AR aspects of the goggles. You hold the Cube in front of you while running an app and wearing the goggles and then you can interact with it. I'm not familiar with other products that do the same thing, so can't really compare it to anything. It works and serves it's purpose, so I guess it's good in that respect. Again, you need the goggles and appropriate apps to use it.

The Novelty Wears Off Quickly
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I checked out the apps on the Merge Cube site none of the 3 I looked at were free. The price ranged from $1.99 to $8.99. I bought the $1.99 app just to test out the cube. It's cool to be able to manipulate 3D images but it didn't hold my interest for long. I guess it might keep the very young kids occupied for a while, but with all the high tech stuff out there this doesn't rank very high on the entertainment scale for me.

Pretty cool AR experience, but seems glitchy.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty cool concept. I did have issues while using this where the device would basically "lose sight" of the cube and I'd have to adjust my angle and view of the cube to get it to reappear. The package talks about "free apps" that can be downloaded, but almost all of the apps I found for this cube were paid apps (iPhone) and I'm not going to spend money on an app just to 'test' this device. As I said before, the concept is very cool and shows what VR/AR is accomplishing as technology advances.

Must Have... For Merge Goggles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put... this is a must have to really enjoy the Merge Goggles VR... This cube gives the system a surface to project VR Objects on to. Tried out the Anatomy App with this, and I had a BRAIN in my hand, that I could rotate and look around. Added bonus, the wicked design on the sides, makes a great desk item when not in use.

Works As Described
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Merge Cube works as described with the Merge - VR Goggles. You have to have it in order to play some of the app games associated with the goggles.

fun, may get better when updated apps come out
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the reality of the Cube is amazing when looking through my Merge VR goggles. i actually see it in my hands but I am holding things like a castle that has fireworks, an interactive body that I can click on to explore and get information on body parts and a box of fireworks that I can light and shoot right out of my hands. I think in the future their will be more games and interactive apps that will make this Cube even more fun.

Interesting, but not vital
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up a MergeCube to go with my Merge Goggles. There seem to be a fair number of apps for it, but none of them seem all that sophisticated or immersive. It held my interest for a couple minutes, and did add a tactile component to my VR/AR experience, but it wasn't something that overly wowed me. If you're interested in the state of technology, It's interesting. If you want an immersive experience, not so much.

Pretty good toy!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I had my doubts when I received this with my Merge VR Goggles. But after launching the app, this was pretty amazing! When you look at the cube through the phone (Galaxy S8+ for me), it became the object or characters in the game. It's a very nice way to explore and kill time. :)

Great product, the next step in VR
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product significantly enhances the Merge VR Goggles. It is really a great holographic experience and there is clear content support from Merge. It takes a little getting used to as with all new technology, but once you get the hang of it, it is truly a remarkable experience.
