Xmas gift for a friend who is lactose intolerant. Now he can make dairy-free ice cream that tastes good and control the amount of sugar in it.

Decided to splurge on this, as I have been getting tired of freezer-burned ice cream from the store. Works great! The three batches I've made so far have exceeded my expectations. Be sure to follow the directions for use exactly, and store the ice cream in a good container (I'm using a sturdy glass one with a locking lid). Looking forward to trying custards and sorbets.

This machine is very easy to use. I love the fact there's very few parts (so they won't get lost). I keep the bowl in the freezer so it will be ready when you are (once your mix is ready). Speedy making ice cream in 15 minutes and it tastes wonderful! Great deal for the money.

Great ice cream maker - super affordable and fun for those occasional special moments with the kids. Obviously you can easily buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the store and it's tasty, we got this to have fun with the kids. It accomplishes that feat and for just $60 or so.

This little machine makes the best ice cream. It has super easy to follow recipes. One batch is perfect for about 3 servings.

I bought this for a friend as a birthday present and they loved it. The only reason why I can't give it 5 starts is because you have to fully wash out the container and refreeze before being able to make another flavor.

I like this ice cream maker for homemade ice cream. My only cons are the amount it makes can run out in just one sitting if you are a family of 4+ And that you have to freeze the mix a little extra if you want it the same consistency as the store bought ice cream (which is stored frozen, in all fairness).

Wonderful machine makes the very best homemade ice cream, smooth, creamy and wonderful. Way better than ANY store bought ice cream and you get to control the ingredients!

This is an affordable, fun kitchen toy. Makes icecream in less than 20 minutes, and is easy to clean and store. Only downside is that the base must be ice-cold when making icecream, so you have to plan ahead (must be kept in the freezer overnight). I'm pretty sure this is the case with all icecream machines, so don't be discouraged. Definitely recommend this model.

Well made ice cream maker. The very first batch I made came out perfectly. Operation is relatively quiet. Follow the directions and you will be very happy with the results. You may find cheaper machines but I can say with confidence, "This one works very well".

Out of all of my purchases at Best Buy, this one has been my favorite. It makes ice cream in about 15 minutes and frosty style ice cream in 10 minutes. Well worth the money. A single container is enough for my family for a single helping so no freezer burn and no waste!!!
