If you are not into bitter coffee, then this machine is for you. It works by periodically spinning the coffee basket for 30 minutes (or more depending on the setting) and also spinning the basket at the end after draining to get the remaining liquid out. Although not super quite (when it is spinning) the sound is not bothersome. Fairly easy to rinse out after use -- I run a short cycle with just water to keep it clean. If you like it hot, a microwave works fine. I recommend using more scoops than they recommend or it might taste a bit dilute.

Good choice. It is easy to use and easy to clean. You have three levels of coffee strength and the entire process takes about 30 minutes. Other makers take up to 24 hours. My only complaint is I wish it made more than seven cups at a time. Buy this.

The cold brew maker is very fast compared to other cold brew coffee makers. It is a little noisy when running but the noise is worth the amount of time you save.

Even on bold, the brew can be a little weak. You can improve this by brewing twice and using warmer to mildly hot water when brewing.

I really like the machine. I could have given the 5 stars but take long the to brew the coffee.

I can only speak to delivery and packaging as it was returned without so much as pulling the purchase out of the manufacturer's box. The reviews noting the relative weakness of the brew cycles led me not to want to gift this to someone who likes strong dark coffee.

Gets the job done. Makes great ice coffee. I would recommend this as a gift or for anyone who wants to brew their own cold brew. Especially if you prefer decaf.
