So I've been using this for a few months now and I really like this machine. It comes with a great starter recipe manual that gets you used to how bread is made in a machine. The only issue is that some recipes outside of what Cuisnart details in its booklet may require some trial and error. If you still with the Cuisinart recipes, which are great, you will get used to how it all works and be a pro in no time.

This bread maker has a ton of features. A timer that makes it convenient. Easy to use. Get a cookbook and get started!

I love this bread maker. It is perfect for just one loaf of bread. My grandma's recipe makes a lot of bread. This bread maker just doesn't have the capacity for this much bread. Just cut it in half and it was fine. All of my other recipes fit though. Just make sure that you are using a recipe for 1 loaf of bread instead of 2 or more.

I purchased this Cuisinart Breadmaker as a gift. It worked okay for a couple of times and then something went wrong and it stopped kneading the dough. I thought I had been fortunate to have gotten the Geek Squad protection, but that turned out to be a joke. I returned the original machine and was told they would need to ship me a new one. And by the way I would need to re-purchase the protection plan for it, which I did. When I received the replacement it was previously opened and missing components. That I would imagine was a Best Buy problem. Needless to say I will attempt to return the replacement and request a full refund of both the product cost as well as the protection plan cost. The future of my shopping at Best Buy depends on how they respond to these issues. To be continued...

Great quality and makes bread just right! The stainless cabinet matches my other appliances.

Loving it. Just have to tweak the measurements when you are adding the ingredients.

The instruction book is not the best, but it bakes great bread.

The bread maker is easy to use and makes a great loaf of bread. The recipes that are included are helpful. The shape of the loaf is great for sandwiches, especially when the slices are cut in half. Using rapid rise yeast helps each loaf turn out great. Light weight, compact but does not move when the kneading process is going on. Pasta and Jam feature makes it versatile. The controls are easy to use too.

I love being able to have fresh-baked bread and the recipes are pretty forgiving.

Mixes good. Everything works. Have only tried the gluten-free cycle since that is why I chose this one. I don't think it cooks hot enough and/or long enough. I tried one of the recipes in the book-which doesn't give enough details of different cycles. Tried another recipe three times, that tasted good but did not cook thoroughly even after leaving it in the warm cycle after.

The machine is fine and generally mets our needs and easy use. However, the bread produce based on the instruction does not have the right texture.

it didn't do what it was to do tried to make apple bread and it baked a nice golden brown crust but the in side was raw

My experience is to added a little more water than it required.

I tried several times following the recipe book that came with it. The bread either didn't cook completely or came out really hard and thick.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas, after hearing him state that he wanted a Bread Maker a few months prior to that. Based on the price I paid, it was definitely a good purchase! The first loaf ever made was a 3 cheese bread (located in the users manual/recipe book that came with the product), and while it states that you MUST use exact ingredients, there is a reason for doing so! NEVER allow the yeast to touch the wet ingredients. Always place the ingredients in order from top to bottom as stated in the recipe book. I used the Rapid Cycle (with Rapid Rising Yeast) for the first loaf of bread made. The machine does make some noise, so do not be alarmed by that....trust me, the smell of fresh baked bread will definitely make up for it! While the bread was kind of dense for the rapid cycle, maybe it was my choice of ingredients....in any case, my boyfriend ended up making a few more loaves on the regular cycle and they turned out great! Light and fluffy....the crust is amazing!

I'm more of a cook than a baker. All my attempts at bread making ended in failure. I quit after several tries. The thing is, I've always dreamed of having fresh bread and I couldn't stop thinking of how this might be the solution to my problem. I finally took the chance and bought this bread maker at a great price. I skimmed through many recipes (online) and many suggested I weigh the flour instead of measure. I own a food scale but wanted to try a recipe with measurements vs weight. I used 3 cups of bread flour, which should weigh 381 grams. Before I put it in the measured flour into the bread machine I weighed it and I found the measurement to be 499 grams. I was hesitant, but decided to try it out anyways. Let me tell you, the bread maker sounded like a dryer that had a pair of shoes inside. It was making loud thunks. The blade kept on skipping cycles because the dough was too dense. It was a disaster. I threw out the dough before baking it. Horrible. I tried again and this time I weighed the flour. The end results was amazing, fluffy bread. I was so happy! I've used this machine for less than a week and I already made 5 loaves, cinnamon rolls, and bagels. All the reviews that say it made a horrible sound or the bread comes out flat, heavy, disfigured, etc I strongly suggest investing in a kitchen scale. They cost $10-$15. It will change the quality of your bread. This is the recipe I used over and over again and tweaked to make different kinds of bread. I got it off all recipes. Try it if you're unsatisfied with your machine. Good luck and happy baking! Makes 1 1/2 lb loaf 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 2 tablespoons white sugar 1 (.25 ounce) package bread machine yeast or 2 1/4 tsp jar yeast 1/4 cup vegetable oil 3 cups bread flour or 381 GRAMS 1 1/2 teaspoon salt Put wet ingredients in first then top with dry (follow the manual) and then select basic white bread. Don't forget to select 1 1/2 lb loaf. Select the crust color of your preference. Press start.

This was my first bread machine and I've now had it for about a month. I've never used a bread machine before but after reading the reviews from other customers and seeing the price I thought I'd give it a shot. I LOVE this machine. Im so glad I bought this. Several bread recipes are included with the bread machine and the directions are extremely easy (just make sure you add the ingredients in the exact order that they are listed). I love the little digital screen on the top of the machine that tells you exactly how much time is left and what process it is on. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone interested in making their own homemade bread.
