we have gone through a lot of toaster ovens in the past, we all heve endured the pain of waiting for the English muffins to toast.this toaster oven is fast. This Cuisinart toaster oven looks so pretty on my counter. Makes toast alot quicker than my old one and is perfect for Tyson chicken wings. I shopped a long time for a new one and very glad I chose Cuisinart.

I've had this oven for about 4 months now. It does a really good job for quick, smaller portion items. Used it to toast bread and bagels and it works great. I've used the bake function many times as well with great results for things like tater tots, french fries, reheating leftovers, etc. It heats to desired temp much faster than our regular oven and uses less energy. I also like the size. I wanted something fairly small so it wouldn't take up a lot of space on my countertop and this worked great. Some of the ovens I was looking at were pretty large. To address my "What's not so great" comment...the sides and top are black which is fine, I guess. For looks, I wish it was stainless. Additionally, it comes with two racks for different methods of cooking. When I'm using the oven, I take the unneccecary rack out and put it on top. The paint is still fine but I worry if I do it long enough, it may scratch the paint on top. My recommendation is that if you don't have a regular oven, get a bigger convection toaster oven but if you already have a regular oven and just wanted something to replace a toaster but can also be used to reheat or cook small portion items...then this oven is for you. Also, if you don't have a lot of space, this one is great as it is one of the smaller decent ovens out there.

Overall a good toaster oven. The quality of baking is much better than any toaster oven I've owned before. Cinnamon rolls, biscuits, etc. are baked properly while remaining soft instead of crunchy. There are three things I would like to see improved. The dials are somewhat difficult to determine. Instead of a clear mark, one of the ribs on each dial is *slightly* longer than the others. This can be especially difficult for older people or those with vision issues. To toast you set the dial to toast, the darkness level and then hit the start button. The problem is the if you move the darkness level even slightly past the lowest setting, you get very dark toast. It really should a dial of dark toast to ash. I usually keep it at the lowest setting and toast everything twice. It's pretty fast, so it's not a deal-breaker for me. Finally, this toaster oven does not have a timer for anything. If you want to bake something for a half hour you have to set a timer elsewhere and then turn the oven off manually when the time is up. This can be both good and bad, but it would be nice to have the option. The overall quality is great, it heats up very past and the crumb tray is very easy to clean. If the rack is kept in the upper position, it will slide out an inch or two when the door is opened, which is very nice. In this position it also has a catch so the tray won't fall out of the oven. However, if you put the tray in it's lower position it will not come out when you open the door, it may even prevent the door from closing. Once this happens though, you'll easily see why and you'll know how to prevent it from happening again. Overall I would recommend this toaster oven, but I would strongly suggest you take a minute to read the instructions. I normally would never say that, but for this model it is very helpful.

First off, this toaster oven does a wonderful job of heating, toasting, and broiling, so I am giving it 4 stars for doing what it is supposed to do and doing it well. It looks nice on my counter, and has plenty of room inside. I'm still having a hard time getting used to all of the dials though... I feel like they made it way to complicated to use. Also, one of the main selling points for me was the fact that the rack slides out when the door opens, but it doesn't slide smoothly like my old toaster oven did. Plus the rack is not centered, but sits up too high in the oven, making it difficult to retrieve the food once it is heated. I'm hoping I will like this oven more as I get used to it.

it didn't have a ridiculously loud beep. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a fire alarm. Seriously. If it had a timer, this would be even better (but I knew this going into purchase). That said, it toasts and bakes evenly. Overall, I am happy with size, style and functionality. Again, that beep....

I bought this toaster oven at Best Buy mainly due to price; competitors were selling it after Christmas for $10 more. I really like it, and appreciate the pull out crumb tray at the bottom that is easy to access from outside the machine and looks seamless with the machine if you didn't know it was there. My favorite part is the little clip on the inside of the door that gently pulls the tray or rack out just a little when the door is opened. The only thing I wish this oven had was a internal light; I do have to open the door when checking on the food sometimes if I'm cooking it for the first time. Otherwise, sturdy, easy to clean and small enough for a counter top. Great for an apartment and very classy-looking.

We bought this model to replace another Cuisinart convection toaster oven. Though it still worked, we decided to give it away and try this model with slightly different features. This model has an actual adjustable 'toast' feature that appears to work well for toast, bagels or English muffins. In addition the oven has worked as expected. Though it is not a convection oven, it still works well. The crumb tray is much more accessible on this unit. Though the manual does not explain it well, the unit does have an auto shut off after about 2 hours in the event someone forgets to turn the unit off. Though the previous unit had a maximum 45 minute timer it worked very poorly as a toaster. This unit allows you to select the feature and temperature you wish to use. We like it very much.

This toaster oven was the third one we have purchased since we built the house. It replaced a Black and Decker toaster oven, albeit slightly smaller in size. Nothing against the B&D toaster ovens (of which we had 2 previously), but this particular toaster oven out performs them in every respect! The overall quality is apparent as soon as you lift it out of the box. It is also sturdier too. The size is a bit larger, which means it can cook larger items. The door, heating elements, and included cooking tray, are all made of very durable material and constructed to last. I have no doubt, after using this toaster oven for 3 months, that it will last a very long time. I’m not too crazy about the “feel” of the control knobs though. While they do perform well, they are a bit “light”, or maybe it would be better to describe them as “so easy to change the settings” that they “seem” cheap? They could have a better “feel” to them, but as long as they perform, they’re good. I think it would be unfair to take away a rating star based on my “feeling” of the controls, as others may like them. One other review I read online described the bell that alerts the owner that a cooking cycle is complete as “extremely loud”. We have not found it to be much louder than other toaster ovens, but rather it is a “more distinctive” bell than others.

it's 1800 watts so it's quite capable of baking, broiling, etc. it sets on my kitchen counter. i use it instead of firing up the oven for small stuff. i can cook potpies in it, tv dinners. i've cooked vegetables and it toasts bread fine. i think i'm saving money using this for small things instead of my oven. it smelled the first time i used it but not after that. it has an automatic shutoff also. that's really important. it does clean up nice with nonstick surface. it's easy to use. there are three ways to set up your oven. i refer to the manual. you set your mode and temp. EASY. i was mad at best buy. they put it on the shelf as new and it was a return so i had to make another trip. they ordered me a new one. if i buy something knowing it's a return, fine. i expected to buy a new item. they took it back and ordered me another one and delivered it. they made it good. i recommend this item.

The oven works well, warms up fast, and is easy to use and clean. It was also inexpensive, primarily because it does not have digital controls. I use my smartphone for a timer so the lack of digital controls is not a problem. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out how to toast a piece of toast without burning it!

Love this toaster oven. Not too big, easy to read dials, toasts beautifully. LOVE that the crumb tray is separate and pulls out for easy emptying and cleaning. Am NOT impressed with the clunky sound and feel of the door when opening and closing. Hence, a 4 rating.

I purchased this for my Dad as a Christmas present. After looking at many different ones, I chose this one for several reasons. First is I trust the brand, this was also stylish, easy to use and compact. I thought it was a great price. My dad is very happy with it and so am I. I was so pleased with it, that I bought one for myself..

This is a very solid toaster oven. It has done a very good job for us so far. It toasts very evenly and has done a good job of baking items. We love the removable crumb tray. This is a very easy to use toaster oven with clear controls and a nice bell when the toaster is done. I would recomend this toaster oven to anyone who needs the versatility of a toaster, small oven and broiler.

Generally, when we first got it, I like that you can push a button instead of turn a dial. But it doesn’t toast as well anymore. I like the crumb tray though. It gets all the crumbs. And I purchased it because the other one died, so I like it better than that one? My husband uses it more than I do. Good for cooking small meals. You don’t have to type this in, but to find a toaster oven that you can push a button instead of turn a dial is what I really wanted. Do you guys have a toaster oven? I’ve been saying, I kind of want a regular toaster. But I do like this.

I purchased this after reading and "playing" with the other toaster ovens...opening/closing the door, turning the knobs, etc. I know of this brand for several years, but never was able to treat myself until now...glad I waited, because this compact design is perfect for under the counter, and it gets to the preferred temperature very quickly as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who prefers to not heat up the entire kitchen (oven), and toss out the toaster, as this is a winner...!

Overall, I like this product. My Black and Decker Toaster Oven lasted for over 15 years so it was hard to adjust to new product. I do like the different options and the bread crumb tray is extremely easy to clean. I also like the larger size of this unit. We can fit a lot more in it. I would, and have, recommend this product to others.

This toaster oven toasts evenly and quickly. It also does a great job broiling. Great classic look with easy dials. Don't let its footprint fool you, it's bigger on the inside! Minor peeve, the door doesn't always want to stay down when opened.

The only thing I would change is the buzzer/timer. It sounds like my fire alarm is going off each time it goes off. Other than that, it is a great product. Spacious and quick for toasting or baking small items.
