1/2 of electrolux induction cook top died, so only 2 functional burners on stove. $$$ to fix. so purchased the cuisinart induction burner for when we need more than the 2 stove top burners. works great with our pans. did a steak souvie following the cusinart phone app instructions and using the temperature probe provided - perfectly done medium rare and nicely seared outside on first attempt. i will do more steak in future. reasonably quiet.

Purchased due to not having a stove for a period of time. Very happy with the quality and performance. I’ve only done basic cooking and haven’t used the app yet but I’m very satisfied!

I love the ease of use if this electric induction cooktop. I can plug it in on the patio and cook for my guests and not have to miss out on the conversation. Cuisinart make a great product. I have yet to find a Cuisinart product that isnt top notch. I Love It!

This is an outstanding new product in the induction cooking space. Very inexpensive and works better than any other cooking method. I highly recommend this product. Outstanding design and functionality.

This induction cooktop is great, but the app is lacking in features and recipes. For the most part, you can control the temperature via the touch buttons on the surface without using the app. And if you can cook, (or have access to Google) I promise you can find better recipes than they have [at the time of posting this review]. If you choose to download and use the app and figure out how to connect your one-top to your phone.... you can control the surface temperature to a specific degree (F or C) or have it control temperature based on the included probe. So long as you have induction-ready cookware, it's a decent buy but I would still wait for a sale if you can. (I purchased mine directly from their website, which is why mine is black) It's actually great for making custard, which is what I have used mine for so far. The 3rd heat setting is 140 exactly and the next setting 160-170. Perfect for custard. It can also boil water remarkably fast (maybe I am just fascinated with the thing...) I can see this being a great addition to a dorm, or small apartment (where mine is currently stashed).
