This machine is such an awesome machine for the money! It slices deli meats and cheeses with ease. One of the better brands that give you the expectation of a professional kitchen appliance. With this one, its true! You get it all! This is truly a slicing, dicing, deli, supreme buy!

This is not an industrial slicer, but it does a great job for home use. I have used it several times to cut up a roast to make beef jerky and it does great. Just take your time and let the slicer do its job.

Bought this to cut up some deer meat so I could make jerky on my pellet smoker. It did a great job (and the jerky came out really good). Don't expect an industrial size/powered unit. It is for home use, but does what needs to for my use.

It does what it's supposed to. Kind of cheesy in that it's not that solid, but it does work. You really can't slice items that thinly. I don't think I'll ever be able to "shave" anything, but then again, I don't care about that, I like some heft to my meat!

This slice is far superior the the previous device I bought 30 years ago, that there is no comparison. Cuisinart's model is faster, smoother cut, less meat "ripping", quieter and easier for ONE person to operate and also arrange the sliced meat, vegetable or fruit.

Definitely easy to clean after use. This is NOT a commercial kitchen slicer, but it does the light slicing I need on occasion. Turkey breasts for sandwiches, salami for appetizers, semi-frozen beef for jerky all slice well on this slicer.

Very flimsy. Bought this to make thin slices of beef for gyudon. I adjusted it to the thinest setting but it doesnt hold that position for long. You have to keep readjusting the knob or even hold the knob while trying to thin slice the meat. It can be done as long as you have patience with holding and adjusting.
A little tricky to use, but it great for the price

Great little slicer. The only reason I am giving four stars is because the exit of the meat is tricky and it sometimes get stuck in the blade and rotates with it. Putting some oil on the blade helps a little. It needs a better exit shoot or something.

Deli sliced meat and more at home. One of the best small kitchen appliances I own and ofcourse it's made by a top notch company, Cuisinart. Every kitchen deserves one!
