Made one of the best pots of coffee I've ever made. However, the design has some drawbacks. The carafe is not easy to pour. The opening on the top is a circle right in the center of the top. So when you get low on coffee and try to pour, you almost have to turn the pot upside down, which is awkward & causes spillage at times. Also, once the coffee is done brewing, the machine shuts off. I guess it is designed so that the carafe is insulated enough. But we wanted the ability to keep the carafe heated as long as we wanted to. But overall a great brew! The Bold Brew option was a big plus!

A simply amazing coffee maker! The best thing about this coffee maker is the carafe doesn't have a stupid button you have to push to dispense coffee. Simply pour and out comes that delicious cup o' joe! Through some sort of magic, the heat doesn't leave through the spout. Highly recommend. If you're on the fence, get off and buy this coffee maker!

This is coffee pot is a replacement for another Cuisinart model. This model brews coffee well but the quality of the coffee maker is questionable. I had to get a replacement within two weeks because the lid hinge broke. I hope this one lasts the full warranty period. It's no fun complaining to Cuisinart for failed products but they usually stand by their warranty.

Although this carafe is a bit bulky, it is with good reason. The insulation on this pot keeps the coffee hot for hours. I like that you can easily select the number of cups of water needed and the digital display makes brewing easy. You can even choose "bold" if you like a strong cup of coffee. For me, the biggest drawback is the difficulty pouring out the last bit of coffee. I have to remove the lid from the carafe to get it all out.

Looks nice, keeps coffee hot & seels good,but the lid kinda screws on & makes it pour wierd, do not recommend using pot to fill maker,

Used 2 weeks and so far a little disappointed. it takes almost twice as long to make a pot of coffee than my last cuisinart as for the bold or regular setting can't really tell the difference.

Love this coffee pot as it makes coffee fairly quickly. The coffee has a great taste. The only thing I didn’t like was the top cover broke not long after purchasing.

This will be given as a Christmas gift for my son and my rating is based on the expectation that the gift receiver will enjoy it. My son requested it due to the stainless steel carafe anticipating it will keep contents hot for hours.

Happy with this coffee maker. Brews well and the metal carafe keeps the coffee warm without a hot plate.

Requires very little setup time. I really like the water filtration system and the "bold" selection button. The best coffee maker I've every had.

Love this coffee maker. My husband and I are very busy people so this is perfect for us because we don't have to worry about making sure it's off when leave in the morning

I was skeptical of going from a heated glass pot to an insulated carafe. The first time using this coffee maker I was very impressed. I started with my first cup at 530am, left for work with a hot cup of coffee at 730am. When I returned home after 5pm, the coffee remaining in the carafe was still plenty hot and very drinkable.

works good but coffee leaks out when u pour it into the cup.

We love Quisinart products, but I was very disappointed with this unit. The carafe spilled while pouring.

This is a good coffee maker and definitely makes a nice hot cup of coffee but the only bad feature about it it's the cleaning of the carafe because you literally need a baby's bottle bottle cleaning utensil to clean the carafe provided because the opening is so small and also the pouring at first it's great but once it gets a certain point you are literally losing out on coffee because of the design for pouring but other than that in overall is definitely worth it so far

Cuisinart makes a lot of great appliances but coffee makers are definitely not there best especially when the light comes on for cleaning once on it will never disappear even when calling them directly for support they don't have any idea on how to fix the cleaning issue and always refer to the manual as if you don't know how to read it on your own definitely recommend anyone considering on buying a cuisinart coffee maker to save your money and spend it on another brand I don't really write to many reviews but this one is to warn people that really want an honest an unbiased opinion or review but if you are like me and want to try it for your own experience well you can't say you didn't read the reviews and read this one in particular of the experience I went through with and had to return it after less than a month of use

First one was broken upon arrival. The top hinge had snapped. Replaced it figuring something was done wrong during packing. Got a replacement and after two weeks the same thing has happened. Has to be a design flaw. Going back again. Cuisinart quality has obviously slipped. A shame. Liked it while it worked.
