This the second time we buy this product. The first one last about 4years. My parents boil water at least 6 times per day. The second one we have used about 1 year now, and we still love it. Recommended product.

I had one just like this for many years. I love the preset temperature for the different type of tea and the keep warm option. The reason I rated this as a four is my older model you could program the exact degrees you wanted within 5 degree increments and it had a read out for the current water temperature. This one just has the preset buttons for the type of tea. I miss the other features but over all this is an excellent tea kettle

My Husband Accidently Broke My Temptations Ceramic Tea Pot. So this is the Replacement. Has far more bells and whistles than the other one and would Highly recommend it to anyone looking Love the keep Warm Feature and also was instrumental in making my shoefly pies kept the water nice and hot to use for the King Syrup All in all and fantastic Product. So happy is did some research. and spent the extra money.

Overall I think it’s dynamite, especially it lighting up for the amount of water to put in. The chime going off , when’s up to temperature. And the feature for it to keep the water at that temperature for extended time. Then it shuts off , I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

It keeps the water hot till you turn it off, or also you can program it, to keep the hot water for 30 minutes, pretty easy to use, you know this is a good brand, warranty, almost 2 liters of water, worth the money!!!

What I really like is it has six preset temperatures. Hopefully it will last a long time. Best Buy delivery is fast and their pricing is always competitive....

I bought two of these, gave one for my mom and I kept the other. It’s a great kettle, we’re happy customers and tea lovers.

I'm a huge loose tea drinker and this is perfect for my tea station.

I love the design of the product.. I give the manufacturer credit for coming up with innovative idea... but the only issue I discovered after is that... inside the kettle has started to rust... which is not a good thing.

This electric kettle is very simple and easy to use. I was surprised at how fast it heats up. It took up little space on my counter and matches very well with the rest of the appliances on it. This kettle would have gotten 5 stars however, cleaning the kettle is where it loses a star. you can rinse the inside but can not really clean the inside due to the fact that your hand doesn't fit inside the kettle. Also the bottom of the kettle can not get wet due to the electronic heating element being exposed. The manual specifically says not to let water touch the element as this could cause it to malfunction. So a lot of care must be used when cleaning the kettle and can be stressful. But, again the actual function of it is top notch and great.

I'm British, therefore, TEA! I drink loads of the stuff, and over the course of time, I burn through kettles like crazy. I always buy nice 'looking' ones, but never really thought about the gadget side of what a kettle could do for me. With it's touch button controls for choosing different heat points for different types of tea, or a plain 'boil' set point, along with LED lighting and an audible 'Start' and 'Stop' tone, this is a fancy kettle. Coupled with a 'keep warm' function that keeps your water at your desired temperature for 30 mins, and a dry boil protection, this kettle has it all. It's a nice, sturdy, stainless steel kettle, very ergonomic and not very heavy considering the technology inside. It also has a 360 degree swivel base and an anti tangle cord. My only criticism of the kettle would be that the opening at the top to put the water in is a little small, because the hinge is quite large and the holder for the washable filter is also on the opposite side. I typically don't pour water into the spout, to prevent water spots on the kettle surface. Talking of the surface, it does keep clean very nicely, especially if you wipe it while hot. All in all a very nice kettle, and I'd have to recommend it! No problems so far.

This kettle has been used daily for 4 years and still going strong. Looks new still even the letters. Heats quickly. Buzzer when done is not intrusive and sometimes I forget if I heard it or not. I only wish the outside didn’t get hot, but I stay clear and don’t touch it. Oh, auto shut off is a plus. I only recently learned that when I went on vacation and turned around because I knew I left it plugged in, but it had turned off. Perfect kettle.

Excellent for daily use for any drink that needs hot water. The kettle is sturdy and completely stainless steel on the parts that contact water. You can select the exact temperature for the coffee or tea you are brewing. The kettle will hold the temperature of you will be making a few cups.

I picked this kettle simply for the design and amount of liquid i was able to heat at once as well as the ability for it to keep items hot . It works fast, easy to use and easy to clean .

The Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle works very well for me as I brew different types of tea as well as french press coffee. The kettle provides me with just right water temperature. The biggest advantage for me is the lowest setting, which makes preparation of baby food a breeze. The stainless steel look goes well with others stainless steel appliances. I use my kettle few times a day for few months now and absolutely love it.

2018-11-14. So I've only been using this a couple of months now and so far so good. No issues with functionality. Cuisinart has always been a leader in small home appliances and this kettle is no exception. The model I'm reviewing is the CPK-17. This unit is fairly large at 1.7L, and I've never boiled water at maximum capacity. The kettle has a large viewing area to see water levels and is backlit with a blue light. I'm not sure if this is a UV light to kill bacteria, but if it is, that a bonus! Of the 6 presets. 5 of them are dedicated to teas, so if you're a tea lover this little baby will have you covered most of the time. I do indulge in Green Tea from time to time, and I think the perfect brewing temperature for Green Tea is 172F. Unfortunately for me, they have Green Tea set at 170F. But other than that the unit is great, it brings 1L of water to a boil within minutes. The controls are smartly placed on the handle and the kettle has there is a nice keep warm feature (button activated) which is designed to keep the water hot after it reaches a boil for 30 minutes. This is perfect for me as I brew my coffee one cup at a time. Other than that, they're in line with the competition; the handle remains cool to the touch at all times, but the kettle itself does get hot as all kettles do; there is an auto shut off to prevent water from over-boiling, and a sleep mode found in many other kettles in today's market. This is my 3rd kettle in about 5 years. My previous kettles were great too, but they didn't seem to withstand the test of time. I ended up purchasing this kettle for two main reasons: 1. The price has finally come down over the years. When this kettle first came out, it was going for a hundred bucks. Now, you can find it for about 60% of that price. 2. The reviews had indicated that the quality was good; sturdy construction with quality parts. Other criteria of mine this kettle met include: The opening is large enough for my hand to fit it in (to clean it) - The lid can be removed! Lightweight for easier portability. Removable and washable scale filter. While the unit is on the pricier side (the going rate at time of this review is still about twice what I'm used to paying for an electric kettle), I decided to take a chance on it in hopes that the quality will make up for it. No idea how I managed to not have one of these. I’m not a tea snob so I have no idea that different teas should be made with different temperatures of water, but here ya go! I bought this so I could make meals in my cabin in Yosemite. The food in the valley is not good - I think people who say it is are starving after hiking and are ready to eat anything. I bought a bunch of backpacking food- just add boiling water and wait 10 minutes. Perfect. No waiting in line, no fried food, no frozen reheated food. And the water boils in around 2 minutes. I got rid of the tea kettle taking up 1 of the 4 burners on my stove. Easy to see water levels. Kettle lifts off without the cord (that’s how it’s cord free). Easy to fill.

I love to just punch the bottom and have tea water ready so quickly. It is easy to clean. Once a week I dump a few gurgles of vinegar in the water and use that water to rinse my dishes. Having different temperatures is great as I keep several teas on hand and can change my mind on a whim. It is heavy to lift, if it is plum full.
