Cuisinart simply makes great products. We purchased a different wine cooler first at a similar price but then decided to replace that one with this one when it went on sale. So glad we did! This one has a nice look to it, fits 14 bottles, runs quietly, has a small frame so can fit in many places. We definitely made the right choice buying this.

Lots of room for wines. Keeps things cold, even in summer in a sunny room off the deck.

Bought this wine cooler at a local Best Buy. Best Buy's site had no product reviews for this item prior to our purchase. Took it home, unpacked it, tried to set the thermostat, and the temperature display and interior lights dimmed. The temperature display only displayed a partial single digit, and the interior light switch did nothing. We have a lot of Cuisinart products. Indeed, our preference has been that if Cuisinart makes a product, we always buy it versus any other brand name. After our experience with this wine cooler, I found reviews at other sites, and they were so negative that I would never had considered this product if I had read them prior to my purchase. Most disappointing was reading other site's reviews and noting the almost universal negative criticism of Cuisinart's Customer Service. I guess we have been fortunate that our many other Cuisinart products have worked flawlessly. This wine cooler is pretty well guaranteed to disappoint any purchaser. If you want to try it anyway, I strongly recommend buying it at Best Buy and PLEASE buy the extra "Geek Squad Protection" (extended warranty), since it seems very unlikely the product will be trouble free. We returned ours for a complete refund (including the Geek Squad Protection) the day after purchase. No replacement desired!

I wanted a mini-fridge but didn't have the space width-wise, so I bought this because it said it cooled to 39°. It only cooled to 41° when I bought a few months ago, (which was annoying, but within a +/- margin of error, I decided - and borderline acceptable). But now it isn't getting below 50°, which is totally unacceptable for beverage cooling. (I bought it for beer & wine). No mention on BestBuy website description abt only cooling relative to ambient temperature. What on earth use is it if it only gets to lukewarm in the summer?
