The design is great, but seems like it doesn't evenly toast. Some areas of the toast gets whiter than others.

Bagels is what gets toasted the most. Just make sure when it’s done you push up on handle to make them easier to reach

This toaster fits bagels beautifully. It has plenty of settings to customize your toasting experience. I like the retro look as well. Overall a really good toaster.

The toaster functions very well. Having the plug by the settings function is the only complaint. It makes it very cumbersome in that location.

I really like the bagel button as it toasts bagels perfectly. I also like the lever that allows you to push short pieces of bread up out of the toaster enough so you can grab them.

Toasts...as to be expected. Toasts bread...making toast. Waffles and bagels require a setting of 5 minimum but of course that is based on preference.

My last toaster cost 1/4th the price and it toasted nicely. This thing looks nice on the counter but it doesn't toast evenly, the bagel setting seems to be non-functional and unless you set it to light you will end up burning your toast. NEVER again will I buy a Cuisinart toaster!!!!

Classic looking toaster the only problem I have is its a little darker on one side than the other otherwise I would have gave it a 5-star review

Looked relatively sturdy in the photo, but in reality seems as flimsy as basic toasters that cost $20 less. The bagel setting turns on a light but doesn't seem to do much else. Like my previous toaster, you usually have to use it twice to brown heavier breads or bagels. I am guessing that it's not worth the premium Cuisinart charges over the basic brands.

After a Cuisanart commercial toaster I've owned for over 10y this toaster is very cheaply manufactured. It does work fairly well but I'll be surprise if this lasts more than a couple of years. This is one of those times when YOU NEED TO SEE the product BEFORE buying. It's "tinny". It was more reasonably priced - I should have questioned WHY...

Good toaster in many ways but, like a lot of toasters, you have to toast some of the more moist artisan breads twice to get any browning. For most breads,however, it works fine. I don't know if this is cuz of govt restrictions or not. My wife is from Brazil and down there she has a Black and Decker that will toast anything much better. I'd have to try a US model of that B&D to see if the US model is a weak toaster or not.

Was looking for a standard toaster to do all the essentials that's a toaster does as well as being able to handle a bagel. The SS look is nice

I bought this toaster because it is Cuisinart and I love their products. It does toast evenly, however, I would NOT recommend this toaster, especially if you have small children or older folks around. The outside of the toaster gets very hot and you can burn your hand/fingers. You have to wait for it to cool off.

The only thing that would make this better is if the level to lift the toast up would bring it up a little higher

Just finished building new house n it fits in nicely with our other stainless appliances.

After using this for a month I do not have any negative comments. It was very expensive for just being a toaster, but I saw so many bad reviews on lower price units I opted for this.

This Cuisine Toaster is better than my previous toaster because the widths are bigger to put bagels inside without problem.

Always get brown toast, a welcome surprise as last toaster you got multicolor toast
