We needed to replace a Braun that quit on us, and it's hard to find a cone-shaped filter these days, so this one fits the bill. Yes, it beeps twice, but we don't find it that loud. We like the compact footprint, and that you can see the amount of water in it on the side. We haven't used the timer starter, but it has one. We'd buy it again.

Set it and forget it coffee maker. Wake up and pour yourself a great cup of coffee.

I have had several coffee makers and this is the best by far. I like the fact that the coffee level is indicated on the outside of the machine. The carafe does not drip and is easy to clean, top comes right off. It also does not develop coffee stains as my previous one did. The temperature of the brewed coffee is perfect. I have only had it a short time so I cannot comment on long term durability. The amount of water lost to the grounds is minimal, so if you put in water to the ten cup line you get ten cups out of the machine. I use filtered water and so do not use the carbon filter. I have used both paper and the gold filter without any problem.

Cuisinart's 12 cup programmable coffee maker is excellent. Although I read the directions that came with the coffee maker, it was so simple I could have used the coffee maker right out of the box. It brews at the best temperature to minimize the bitter taste that happens with other coffee makers.

I was looking for a reliable programable coffee maker that could make 6-12 cups. the features and value of this one were the best value. Easy setup, esay to use and maintain.

Love the 1--4 cup feature which double heats the water. Happy to grind my beans or pour pre-ground ones for a personalized, hot (hot!) cup of coffee. Plus, I have flexibility to use this coffeemaker for company, when a full pot is required, and lots easier. My previous maker was a long-living Cuisinart. Happy to have this.

Read the reviews and went with this one. Has its flaws but overall it does the job. The lid clips to the carafe. Once the clips break you'll need to buy a new one. It's hard to empty all the water from the carafe into the reservoir without spilling some. Also the clock isn't backlit so it is impossible to see the clock. Seems to be the way Cusinart make their coffee makers. The larger one we have at work is the same way. But in the end it makes coffee. What else is a coffeemaker really supposed to do?

They last quite a long time with daily use, sometimes several brews a day. The coffee brew is of reliable strength; the temperature is perfect temperature; the lid closes as it should; the carafe pours without drips & spills. Reliability in any appliance should go without question.

My kitchen is blacks, grays, and stainless, and this coffee maker fits in nicely. Easy to operate, and has a 1-4cup option to heat water more quickly.

I like this coffee maker because it is simple to use. I have the permanent coffee filter so I don't have to purchase paper filters. Timer allows me to prepare coffee for brewing the night before and I get to wake smelling the freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to keep clean and nice looking.

Was tired of replacing my $20 coffee pot twice a year, so decided to make a small investment and I'm glad I did. This product looks nice, and makes some seriously HOT coffee!

Excellent coffeemaker. This is my second one. First broke after 6 years. All those years we didn't have any problem with it.

We had this model coffee maker previously, and it made great coffee daily for well over seven years. When it finally died, we replaced it with the same model. Fast-brewing, easy to set up and program, and best of all, stays on for up to 4 hours. I have 3-4 mugs every morning, and I like that the last cup is as hot as the first.

Hot coffee! Clean, sharp design with excellent results. I love the cone filter, it brews wonderfully without the mess associated with a basket style.

I did a lot of research before making a purchase to replace my existing coffee maker that was dying. Very Hot Coffee was the number one requirement. I typically take my coffee and stick it in the microwave as I like it piping hot. My previous maker was beginning to fail to delivery on this. Glad to say this coffee maker delivers whether it's just brewed or being sitting for an hour or so. It is very hot....perhaps too hot for some. I wanted a maker that used cone shaped filter like my previous maker as I think this improves the taste. The lid on the carafe is a little unusual as it's like no other I've seen before. Takes a little practice to figure out how to remove and snap back on. The benefit is that the lid will not come off as your are pouring hot coffee. You just need to pull the lid from the handle side to remove....and snap it back in place by pushing down near the top of the handle. At first I was thinking the lid was defective but once you figure it out it's easy to remove and put back on. Emits a beeping noise when it's finished brewing which is nice. Easy to program to brew a fresh pot when you wake up. It's not too large and is very nice looking. The cord is rather short, so you need access to a fairly close outlet, which I imagine is a safety issue. Overall, I would certainly purchase again. Notice that I can easily get a cheap replacement carafe from Cuisinart should I ever need to. So if you like your coffee VERY HOT this may be the one for you.
