We have hard water, and had a fairly new Mr. Coffee maker that just sputtered and steamed all the time, even after i cleaned it multiple times and disassembled it and cleaned out the little check valve thingy that some online sites blamed for the problem. We bought this Cuisinart after doing our research and seeing it's good reviews and love it. It is quiet, fast, and JUST WORKS the way a coffee maker should. I think it's a much superior design and better engineered (and I'm an engineer)! It was about 3 times the price, but worth it! Only had it a few weeks, but so far we are very pleased. Brews 12 cups in less than 10 min, and it tastes great every time. Don't use any of the other fancy settings, but like that it has an indicator to tell when it needs cleaning, and the manual suggests it is smart enough to show if your cleaning did the job or not... says to repeat cleaning if indicator light doesn't go off. A great coffee maker for folks with hard water.

We had a similar model that lasted for a number of years, and we were looking for a basic coffee maker. That is what this is. It takes a little while to brew a pot of coffee, but it does a nice, consistent job. We have not tried to use any of the programmable features. Overall very pleased.

Spent some time checking reviews and found so many positive ones for this Cuisinart decided to give it a try. Happy we did. Great tasting coffee, simple to use, no drips.

My 9yr old coffee maker died and I needed a new one. I read all sorts of online reviews and Cuisinart seemed to be very popular. I've been using it daily now for a couple months and I must say I am impressed. I like how you can select the time for the heating pad, and the buzzer when brewing is finished is nice. I use paper filters instead of the provided gold permanent one, found too hard to clean every time. Bottom line the coffee tastes great. I adjusted the scoops of coffee per cup to my taste and it make a very consistent cup of coffee every time.

It is not as easy to find a white coffee maker these days - but this one works great and has all the features I need. Nice hot coffee, too!

Cuisinart has done it again. This coffemaker is amazing and makes truly the best coffee. Set the timer and wait for an amazing cup of coffee!

If you like your coffee hot, this coffee maker is for you. Decent cup of coffee & easy to use. I have found no issues, so far.

After reading reviews on similar programmable coffee makers, I decided to purchase the Cuisinart coffeemaker and I'm very satisfied with my choice.The modern style and quality of the product is a great value for your money!

I like Cuisenart coffee makers because they keep coffee hot. This model is nothing fancy but it does the job well.

Purchased to replace an older coffee maker. Has a number of useful features that you won't find on the simple "on and off" models. Decent price point for being a CA product. Can usually find them on sale which makes it a better value.

Easy to use. Love the 1-4 cup function. Keeps the coffee hot when you're not brewing a full pot.

I really like this coffee maker. It is so easy to operate. Have not had any problems. Only fault is when pouring water into reservoir it spills onto counter. Easy fix was instead of pouring from the side, I pour where the coffee pot is over the coffee ( I guess you could say it is a left handed pour) grounds that way if it does spill it goes onto the coffee. Other than that, no problems.

Small issue with water line connection to lid, but just be mindful of it and it works fine

Overall great product. Very easy to use. Coffee temp is very hot. And, unlike most coffee pots, it doesn't spill when you pour.

This is our second Cuisinart Coffer maker.(last one wasn't one) So glad we got this!!! LOVE IT!! Will not buy any other kind again. The price was reduced after I ordered on line and I got some money back!!! It perks fast and the coffee is hot and tasty!! I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a nice product at a reasonable price.

Sleek and elegant coffee maker, programmable, easy to use and makes a great hot cup.

Seems well made. Like the permanent filter. Makes the coffee very quickly (5 minutes, full pot). Setup (clock, auto brew, etc.) were kind of weird, but once setup who cares. The only drawback that I have found is the lid for the coffeepot. It is not hinged, so if you want to remove it for cleaning you have to pry it off. It is not that hard to remove, but still which that it was hinged or more easily removed. Other than that, I really like this coffee maker.

I purchased this last year and it has been fantastic. I get up early in the morning so I set it up the night before and use the automatic timer feature so that coffee, at the perfect temperature, is ready for me as soon as I roll out of bed. It's a nice aesthetic for a modern kitchen. You don't need a Keurig to have a good cup of coffee each morning. All you need is some quality coffee and this unit. I highly recommend it.

This coffee maker makes an outstanding consistent cup of coffee. I had purchased it about 12 years ago and the old one finally died but I was able to still find the same model at bestbuy.com. They delivered the day after I purchased without a fee. Glad we could get the same one!!! Only feature I never cared for on the unit is that there is no way to turn off the beeper saying coffee is ready.
