Item works exactly as you'd expect. Blends things quite easily and works well when you don't want to use and wash a full sized blender. Excellent for use in pizza sauce or smoothies using fresh berries. I do NOT recommend it for frequent use with ice chunks, thick milkshake, or smoothies using frozen berries . . . You'll burn out your motor that way. If you have to blend something such as ice cream or frozen berries make sure they're a bit thawed and not as solid as ice. The one big flaw of this device is that it has a safety button that's absolutely horrifically placed. You have to press and hold the safety button on the top of the hand blender while also holding the chosen speed button on the front of the handle . . . Suffice to say it's uncomfortable. Granted once you've pressed the safety button down you don't have to hold it as long as you're holding down the speed button, but if you like to pulsate what you're blending it becomes a hassle quite fast. Still, it's a minor inconvenience compared to what benefits the overall device offers.

Like the 2 speeds. Easier to hold for longer periods of time than the last Cuisinart I had. Dishwasher safe. Easy to store. Use it for soups all teh time. Love it.

This Cuisinart hand-held blender makes it much easier for me to do creamed vegetable soups. I used to have to pour the hot liquid into my regular blender. Now, with this new tool, I can cream the soups right in the pot. I usually use the high speed, and it works very well for what I want. An added plus is that there are fewer items to wash.

Got it because a friend recommend it for making mayonnaise and blending broth and meats for gravy and savory drinks. Works as stated... Easy to use. No complaints at all. Haven't used it that much but making mayo was so much easier than in food processor.

I did extensive research on all stick blenders under $100, and this one seems to be the best for the price. I used a different one around the same price change (off-brand) and it did not work anywhere near as well as this one.

Another great product from Cuisinart. I owned one for 10 years in Europe and have missed it here in the US. Reliable, easy to use and clean. Comes with a small plastic pot/container for blending, but can be used straight in the saucepan. Recommend!

I make a shake each morning with frozen berries and banana and this does a great job of pulverizing everything. I had used a different brand that my mother-in-law had and the suction on it mad it hard to use, this one is easy.

Very quick and easy tool for making smoothies and soups. The metal frame is a bit top heavy so the hand blender can tip if you're not careful. I miss my Braun hand mixer but this is good value and effective for small quick blending jobs too.

Bought this to replace a ten-year-old Cuisinart stick blender (nearly identical). This one has two speeds and is stainless steel; my old one only had one speed and was plastic. Easy to use and easy to clean!

Does the Job well, its easy to clean and powerful enough. As this stainless steel it doesn't stain after blending curries and purees :)

This blender is super easy to use, and clean afterward. It has two speed setting and if you really want to mash or grind something, this is it! It does great job at grinding nuts or garlics or mash potatoes.

I got this as a replacement to a previous hand held blender i had, this is much more versatile. I can remove the blade for easier cleaning and it also has two speeds. Very good product.

very sturdy, powerful, easy to clean and to use, I love it and wish I had bought one sooner. Goes through carrots, potatoes and beans with no problem.

I've used it to make a couple batches of pea soup (to blend ingredients after cooking). I made the first batch very smooth, and chose to make the 2nd batch with a bit more texture - worked for both. I was surprised that the on button doesn't lock down. When I read the instructions, it says to hold the On button down for no longer than 50 seconds. Perhaps the tiny motor could burn out. Make sure you keep it fully immersed, because it will splatter!

This hand blender is easy to use and versatile. It cleans up easily and takes up little space when stored.
