Sides heat up, easy to get burned

The toaster gets VERY hot-easy to get burned on either side. Dangerous for kids. Toasts unevenly

Great choice for a new toaster

Selected this model as a replacement in part because of the bagel feature as my wife likes to toast her bagels. We have now been using this one for about two weeks and can find nothing negative to say about it. When making toast it gives an evenly toasted slice. The fact that it can accommodate a wider slice is a plus, as I occasionally will toast wider breads.

Nice toaster; Breville has a better model
