I didn't know what I didn't know until I got Cujo - Called the number, got a helpful, knowledgeable, friendly human (imagine!) who helped me install Cujo in one short session. In the two weeks to follow I learned why I need a firewall as Cujo showed me several times three of my computers tried to access BotNet IP's. iPad and iPhone tried to visit different malware sites. iPhone tried to visit BotNet Scanner. My malware scanning software did not pick up anything. Cujo is protecting 17 IoT devices: TVs, cameras, lights, remote - in addition to three computers, 2 tablets, and three phones. I am very happy with this purchase and feel secure knowing nobody is watching my cameras except me, and nobody can access my network through any Cujo protected devices. I believe everyone should have this protection.

I Purchased directly from Cujo website before it was available at BestBuy. I have had it for a couple of months. I don't do a lot of surfing to questionable sites or social media but I still have had 5 threats blocked while using my iPhone and iPad. Thankful for that protection. I had an issue with my router (the 2.4 ghtz antenna failed). Because cujo was recently installed I thought it was an incompatibility. Tech support was fantastic. I contacted them by email and they arranged a phone call in less than a day. The tech rep spent a lot of time checking connections and router settings to find it wasn't cujo. When I got my router replaced under warranty cujo sent a PDF to walk me through reconnection and proper router settings. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.

We purchased Cujo trying to find an alternative product for the networks of our clients, most of them have Smart Houses and with all the IoT products nowadays we wanted to make their houses secure. For our surprise since installation Cujo started blocking numerous attacks , you will never guess how many attacks your house or business is exposed and Cujo covered that need right away. In our most honest opinion every house or small business needs to have one, from the app you can see who is trying to reach your networks and allow them if its a known user or not. Cujo provides stats and lots of information and hands down you really need this small piece of glory in your network, you will be amazed on how many people try , and i say try because you have a Cujo , try to access your cameras , printers, fileservers , smart hubs and devices but lucky for you , you have Cujo.

Was sceptical about the entire thing, but after working with firewalls and other appliances,, This products is awesome! Keeps my network monitored with an almost LIVE presence. I am notified if something is trying to connect to anything in my house, (like a trojan trying to have remote access into a windows machine). Excellent technical support, which I have used once or twice to setup the device in different modes, depending on the setup I choose. Very easy to manage, very quick to help, and I can't find another device like it. Can't say enough about Cujo, and it's live protection 24x7 of my network and all devices attached, including wireless devices.

I've purchased a second unit for my office once CUJO hit the stores, having previously installed one at home. Plus: - Best customer service in electronics - Cujo catches 3-5 threats a week for me. Usually phishing or spam ads. Twice it stopped an attempt to access my cameras. - neat, simple app. - Love the parental controls - No subscription unlike all other similar products (norton core, bitdefender box, etc). Cons - No VPN yet but I hear it's coming In hindsight, I should have purchased a firewall years ago. Thank you cujo for making it world class!

Cujo is a great (relatively) consumer-friendly firewall for residences. INSTALL: Setup is pretty easy if you're tech savvy and have a basic understanding of your home network. CUJO support will even call to help you get up and running which is very nice for the less tech oriented folks out there. It's definitely not plug-and-play but that's to be expected with a firewall. BUILD: CUJO looks really sleek. It blends nicely with the rest of your gear. The status "eyes" are clever but are pretty bright. This can get annoying if you put it in your entertainment center. Luckily you can turn them off with the app. EASE OF USE: Once you get CUJO up and running it does all the work for you. The app is straightforward and easy for pretty much anyone to understand. The only thing I'm leery about is how many alerts it generates. Most make sense and seem like legitimate threat blocks and some don't. How can an Apple Watch attempt to visit a BotNet URL? Doesn't seem right to me. But hey better safe than sorry I guess. One of the best features is the new device alert. It's interesting to see all devices on your network and how much data they're using. You can even pause certain device's access which could definitely come in handy for parents. BOTTOM LINE: If you have a lot of IoT devices in your home, or even a lot of internet devices in general, a product like CUJO is rapidly becoming a necessity. In the age of cybercrime and the abundance of internet connected devices it's becoming less of a matter of "if" but "when", and CUJO aims to keep you safe with as little hassle as possible. Recommended.

For those that's not technical, this is a good security for your home as it have blocked few site access from mobile phones from time to time. Otherwise I would not have known it's reaching out to malicious sites unknown to us. I don't get alot of alerts, which is good. But it's there when you need it. It's also good to know I am safe with all my IoT. It's like knowing you have a door with lock for entering your house. If you're technical, you can go for business class or professional firewall where you can do filtering of your own, but those still require annual subscription. Cujo offers lifetime subscription for it's updated database of everything (or most things) bad on the internet.

Cujo does exactly what the advertisements say it will do: it is easy to hook up on your internet system and protects all of my internet-connected items at home (desk computer, smart phones, tablets, laptops) 100%. I am delighted with my investment. Plus the Cujo item looks really nice and friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cujo blocks attempts to visit unsafe sites on a regular basis. It is a security safeguard that makes me feel much more comfortable with our online activity. Easy to set up and use and the technical support is the best I have ever experienced, first class all the way. I highly recommend this product

I've worked in IT for 27 years including working at a global network operations and security center for a military service. This consumer device isn't quite that level of threat protection but it is a very strong defense in comparison to simple antivirus or malware protection. It protects not only your computer but any internet connected device in your home. It takes over the DHCP service so that every device needs to route through the CUJO in order to get to/from the Internet. I've got 5 children and, although their devices have no admin access, they still visit sites or click on links inadvertently that could compromise our home systems. This device gives great peace of mind as it regularly intercepts and blocks traffic.

I initially was skeptical of this product. I actually built my own firewall running untangle, however it was a pain constantly managing it and family members having issues. It became to time consuming so I came back to cujo and took a shot. I was first amazed how they called me during my setup and remote logged in and set it up. I love the phone app, makes it very easy to manage my network. This is a must with kids, I am able to control their web and you can even shut off internet to any device on the fly, makes it great for when my son doesn't want to listen and shut off his internet. It stop threats almost daily from my kids clicking on ads on youtube or games. Great device, highly recommend.

Being an engineer, I am always keen to test such products. I was a little skeptical about Cujo until I bought one. This product has been very effective in blocking outbound attempts to malware or malicious sites. You can also block access based on categories like adware, trackers etc. The product is very easy to set up. I have read reviews about excellent support prior to my purchase but I never had the need to contact them. The app is very user friendly and displays all necessary information required. This is a simple solution for a secured home network. This will protect all devices connected to your router, wired or wireless. I would definitely recommend Cujo.

First of all, having a Cujo on your Home or Business Network is like having an IT Specialist working around the clock for you protecting all your sensitive data! I have (2) 100 Meg Networks here at our store The Bling Box in Texas. Our entire lives and store information is internet based and we access sensitive data 7 days a week. Once I installed both Cujos, with the help of the awesome Video Tech Support Call Feature which rocks by the way, I was up and running! I'm running a Netgear Orbi Wifi Mesh Network on one network and an Apple Time Capsule Airport Extreme on another network and everything works FAST and PERFECT! The phone app controls everything and is pretty nice! I get updates every day of normal websites we all access that have malware, spyware, phishing schemes, ad ware all over them that are attacking us daily. Cujo slams the door on them and doesn't let them get what they want. I couldn't be happier. I plan on buying another one for our home too! They have a Facebook Group to you can join to stay in "the know" of what the company is up too and ask questions with like minded people about the updates that are projected for future software releases! One of my favorite things about Cujo is if a Cujo is attacked in California, it updates the cloud Cujo software of what is happening, and the master software sends out a notice/patch to all Cujos so they can now block the latest attacks going on every single day! I cannot count the dangerous sites that my CUJO has blocked since we installed the device. The product can be difficult to install, but the Support Group is very responsive and got me up and running with little time lost. They know their stuff and they are patient and friendly. Overall this has been a useful and valuable purchase for my family and me. Often I find sites blocked that I didn't know my phone or tablet were being secretly accessed by sites that web pages I was consciously accessing.

I bought this product to protect my network against Dos attacks as stated in "Overview Security features". The firewall does not provide inbound/outbound traffic rules, block/allow applications (i.e. http, https, ssh, etc). It does not let you set data flow limits/priorities (Mbps) on your devices. The Cujo has two types of layouts, direct or bridge. I used the direct layout due to only having one router ("Orbi") and disabled my routers DHCP so Cujo could control and assign the IP addresses. The setup was configured correctly, but my router (Orbi) log still captured Dos attacks and Cujo did not. This was very disappointing due to Cujo exclusively being a "smart internet firewall". My Orbi router prevented the DoS attacks from entering my network but the numerous attacks overloaded my network and periodically shut it down. I bought Cujo to put up an additional firewall ahead of my Orbi router to prevent any attacks from shutting down my network but as stated before, looking at the Cujo logs this was not happening. In my opinion, the best thing Cujo is designed to do is prevent insider attacks (i.e. internal network malicious activity). While the product description states it can build a threat profile even for external attacks there was no evidence of that from the logs. Lastly, contacted technical support in hopes of alleviating this issue. Technical support explained Cujo cannot defend against Dos attacks as advertised and I should contact my IP provider (Xfinity) and see what they can do. They reviewed my routers (Orbi) log files for verification of the DoS attacks and never responded with any alternatives/ fixes to this solution. Tech support was very friendly but appeared to have limited knowledge of their product. Cujo was returned the next day.

This product is great. In the interest of not being repetitive, I'm not going to duplicate what the others have written. Customer service is excellent. This is the first company I've dealt with in a long time that has a proficient support team. Like others, the product has protected me on many occasions to vulnerabilities that I would otherwise not have known about. Great added insurance. If you replace the device however due to a faulty device, you do have to start over so all the device renames etc.... are a do over. Currently they don't have port forwarding for home NAS devices but I've been told this is due to come out shortly.

I've been using Cujo to protect my home network for quite a while now. I don't have time to manage a firewall and Cujo makes it straightforward. It's been very reliable and provide clear warning if I try to go someplace I shouldn't. Set up was easier and the support staff is very helpful. Gives me confidence in being protected with minimal time required on my part.

Purchased about 3 months ago. Easy hookup. Load app. I connected it from the router to the wireless access point. (Plume). NO loss in throughput (get over 100 mbs). Has stopped about 29 - 25 suspect sites in that time. Highly recommend

When the product first came out their were small issues but it looks like that is behind them. Now and then things will still get blocked and you will need to scan your system to find spyware or something that has attached it's self. Keeps you safe from all kinds of attacks info theft etc. Their support staff will help you fix any issues that you may have.

There is not a lot is stress on my network anymore. Cujo goes above and beyond to secure everyone of my 50 devices. It's projected us from crypto and other malware. The reporting app is great because I can see and control my network traffic in real time. The best for kids is assigning rules to a child's devices (time, category and blacklist). Get Cujo!!
