These speakers sound great straight out of the box... Be careful with the bass volume it'll blow you out of the room if not careful lol.... WELL WORTH THE MONEY.... if you're on the edge buy these you won't regret it.

    Excellent speakers for the $

This is a great set of inexpensive speakers. No, they're not as good as the Logitech 623s or the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s, but they're less than half the price, and they do sound good. My one complaint is that the satellite speakers are hard-wired, which means there's no way to increase the distance between them. If you want them for your TV, 42" screens about about the maximum. And be sure that any TV you want to used them on has RCA output connections. You can buy a 3.5mm to RCA Y-adaptor for a few bucks on eBay or Amazon. Do NOT plug them into the headphone output. That's preamplified and could easily blow your speakers. All in all, these are good speakers that I think most people will be happy with. I bought a pair for my son to use with his computer. He's happy with them.

Extremely fast delivery. Would give 4.5 if I could. Good quality for the price. Heavy bass but highs & mids are a little hairy and muddy. I was contemplating between this product, Cyber Acoustics Subwoofer Satellite System (CA-3602a), Genius SW-G2.1 1250 2.1 Speaker System, and a few others . I dont know what those sound like but I think I made the right choice.

Speakers looked ok, sound was acceptable. The real big problem I had with these speakers is that they seem to be built with very thin wires which broke in the 3.5 jack plug area which turned them into a useless set of speakers. Tried fixing them but was impossible.

    Poor Quality

The good: Speaker set has a nice look and the cables are longer than my last speaker set which helped with placement. The bad: Worked for less than one day. Sound quality seemed pretty decent after first setup, unfortunately after approx one hour of use I started to get a popping out of the right speaker which got progressively worse. Even with the computer idle, the right speaker pops and crackles. This seems to be related to the big cable that runs from the right speaker to the sub since wiggling the cable at the connector on the back of the sub increases and decreases the popping. However the cable is hardwired into the back of the right speaker so I have no way to substitute a different cable and verify this. Bottom line, I would say these are very poorly constructed and would not recommend this brand.

i bought this a few months ago. it worked great at first, the bass was amazing. great thump for a PC speaker. then about 2 months later one of the speaker stopped working. i was very upset. i even open the speaker up and tried to repair it by changing the wires, so then i changed the speaker and it worked again. i shouldn't have to do this. disappointed up until now.
