This set of speakers caught me by surprise. For the price I found them at, these were more speakers than I really needed them to be. To start, let's talk about what is included in the box. There are 2 satellites (normal speakers), 1 sub woofer, a controller for volume and bass level, a mp3 player stand, and an auxiliary cord. One thing I should point out for setup is that the cords for the satellites split from the same cord, but are very short. To solve this problem, gently pull apart the cord at the split. If you don't do it gently, you'll tear up the rubber housing exposing the wires. Now the overall cord lengths are reasonable and you should have no problems getting the speakers where you need them. So the setup is relatively easy.
The sound quality is what caught me by surprise. The satellites have crisp highs, and don't distort until you reach a higher volume setting, which in my opinion is too loud for anyone, so you probably won't have that problem. The satellites don't produce good lows though, and that's where the sub comes in. On a solid surface, preferably against a wall and on the floor, the sub delivers a good low and when adjusted correctly, gives a good balance to the satellites.
The design of these speakers are alright, however there are few problems. If you have a country or rustic style of decor, these won't work with it due to the shiny silver and glossy black which leads us to our next problem: the glossy black speakers. The moment you touch it, you're going to be sorry. It leaves and immediate, big, and quite noticeable fingerprint. You will probably find yourself cleaning these quite often due to finger prints.
Overall, these speakers are definite buy for anyone looking for great quality at a decent price. Cyber Acoustics has really raised the bar for computer speakers in recent years, and this is another testament to that statement.

I usually am cheap when it comes to buying speakers for my computers, but this speaker set I bought at around $45 or so, and WOW was I surprised! The sound is very good & sharp with all the music, games, and movies I play at my computer. It also never distorts or sounds flat ever. The deep bass that comes from the main speaker is powerful & loud, almost shaking my surrounding walls. For less than $50, I feel like I own a $150 speaker. I love it.

This sound system is superb for the price. The subwoofer really makes your heart pound when turned up to about 80% max. The clarity is also excellent when you turn the bass down. For being under $50, this speaker setup is one of the best bang for your buck purchases out there.

Sounds pretty good for less than $50. Cheap for a decent 2.1 setup. bass can be easily over powerful if turned up on the dial. Both dials are quite sensitive, though I usually use software volume control and equalizers anyways. Good enough for computer speakers, I would still use good headphones for anything requiring very good audio quality, but for under $50 these do well and have powerful bass (sometimes too powerful). Also, max volume is extremely loud but the sound gets quite distorted near full volume.

Docked 1 star because of something loose in the woofer cabinet when it arrived. It was a thick cardboard tube... appeared to be the tube for the round port that came apart. Lots of finger breaking maneuvers could not get it to slide back in place, and then about 15 minutes of cursing and cutting with a strong scissors finally got it out of there. It was a diameter greater than the port hole, so it would not just slide out.
So, once that was done i hooked it up in a couple minutes and turned everything on. Slight pop and slight hum with no music on. Kind of expected at this price. Probably the more annoying thing is when the basement fridge turns on, the speakers pop as well. So, I just leave the speakers off till I need them for something.
Once i got the music turned on it was quite nice. Able to fill the basement with sound at a reasonable level. Decent base as well. I'm not expecting $300 sound here so I am pleased with the performance. There are a lot of cords since everything hooks up to the woofer and then there is a volume commander that sits up by you that has the aux input and headphone jack. Cords are a good length. I have the woofer near the floor and the speakers surrounding the computer monitor.
So basically, if you know what you are getting (which every set of powered computer speakers i have owned has popped), this is a nice set for the money. Heck, maybe they won't hum or pop if your home has less interference.

Always wanted speakers with a subwoofer and this does the trick for a low price and amazing sound quality for that <$50 price point. If you're coming from a high end system don't expect it to match a Bose system of any kind but easily worth somebody looking to pick up some quality speakers. Build quality is great too, my dog has knocked them off my table multiple times (3' drop) and they don't even scratch.

This is a great little speaker system, especially for the money. Good bass with separate bass control. Easy to plug into a computer, phone, or TV. It also has one input with a long wire which can be connected to one device, and then a second AUX input for a second. If the AUX input is occupied, it overrides the main input. Having two inputs is great because you don't have to constantly unplug it from the TV into your phone when you want to listen to music and then put in back when you want to watch a movie. You might just want a longer 1/4 inch wire for the AUX input than the one that comes with it.

So my 12 year old 5.1 Klipsch finally died, and being a fair bit older and not needing to blow the roof off, I searched for a "cheap" 2.1 system as a quick replacement. The box it came in was surprisingly small, I couldn't believe a sub and two speakers fit in there, but indeed it does. Sound quality is fine at normal levels, install is quick and easy. The volume puck is a huge plus, I didn't want to be messing around with my Windows volume to adjust at will. It glows blue all the time, which sounds annoying but actually is a nice nite-light in my office when it's pitch black and I want to make it to my chair without tripping. The subwoofer is super tiny, but I'm used to an 80 lb Klipsch one, so it's not going to be the same. Overall, a great value!

Great sleek looking desktop speakers for the price. No frills. Works well for music and gaming with plenty of punch at the high end. There is a blue light when the computer is on which can be annoying if you are sleeping in the same room as the speakers.

I liked these speakers so much, I bought another set for my home computer. PC Speakers that sound as good as my $300 home speakers, amazing. They look great, too. Black finish is glossy, which matches my two Lenovo displays. The two speakers don't take up too much room. I use the system for streaming music and web-conferencing. Are there better sounding speakers out there? Certainly, but not for this price.

Good for easy listening or playing games. Not for the audiophile looking for great sound but it does good for what I expected. Keep it 2 feet or more away from routers as it will pick up interference. No big deal.

Normally, if one states that the speakers are a great value, they mean that the sound is okay for such a great price. NOT SO WITH THESE SPEAKERS. They are a great value, but they carry and incredible sound and rival higher end speakers. If you are looking for great sound with great features with an affordable price tag, then you just found the same speakers I did...and you will not be sorry.

I was looking for a little better sound than the typical computer speakers I always had so I decided to upgrade to a system with a subwoofer. I was very impressed with both the desktop tweeters as well as the sub. It also has a desktop controller for volume and bass that has an input for your mp3 player. Everything I needed and at an exceptional price. Highly recommend.

I bought these speakers to replace ones that had started buzzing. Based on all the good reviews, I ordered and picked up in the store. They were very easy to install and sound really good. I play music while working at my desk and sometimes watch videos. These speakers and subwoofer make the sound really good. Would definitley recommend!

We bought these speakers to use as the primary audio for our main flat screen TV in the living room. We are saving to buy a nice audio set up with surround sound and a receiver but we needed something to use while we save money. We went to a competitor to buy a sound bar to use as a temporary solution. We got a $150 Sony which was ok, but we were not happy with it. The sales person recommended using PC speakers because they had the same sound quality but cost less. We researched speakers based on price and rating and settled on these...and we COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!'
Outstanding buy. I wish they looked more laid back...less noticable, but otherwise we absolutely love them. Great volume and great sound quality for the price.
