This was a replacement for an older UPS. Sometimes it's less expensive to just upgrade to a new unit instead of purchase replacement batteries. This unit worked great right out of the box. It offers many customizable options (alerts, line conditioning parameters, etc.) but the factory defaults work just fine. It's nice to have a display on the unit so you can see status at a glance. I use mine in a media closet, so rarely use the extra features like the USB charging ports or USB direct link to a PC, but they're nice to have if you use this as a stand alone unit in an office cubicle, etc. I've only had it in service for about 3 weeks, but so far, so good. Well priced and feature rich. Compares well with APC brands. If I could put something on a wish list, it would be the ability to access the unit through a web interface instead of accessing the 9 custom parameter options on the unit directly via the front display. Again, you don't have to touch any of the settings, but for anyone who wants to customize them, it's a clunky interface.

I currently have this UPS running my entire media room in my basement, modem, switches, Nas drives, home camera DVR etc, and it leaves me with a peace of mind that its protecting all that sensitive equip from surges and also keeps the voltage at a regulated level (only found in $500 and up units). I unplugged the main UPS power cord to see how long it would run all this equip on its battery and the UPS did not disappoint, it kept everything running for over 40mins, long enough for me to safely shutdown everything. This UPS has a great display and it will be easy to maintenance when the battery needs changing. If you need more run time at this price you can get a second one to extend the time on battery.

I used to depend only on other name brands of Backup power units. Cyberpower has come on the scene with strength. I have a rackmounted Cyberpower UPS and it is very reliable. I like this device because it sets up quickly. It also shows the power draw and current available on the front of the unit.

I was hesitant about purchasing this for my entertainment system but I'm glad I did. The display shows you how much power is being used by the devices that are on at the moment and it shows how long the battery will last if the power goes out. With my 75 inch 4K TV, Onkyo surround sound system and PS4 on, the display says that the battery should last between 20 to 30 minutes (depending on how loud I have the speakers going).

We live in the "lightning capital of the world" so we have frequent power surges and outages that typically last about two hours. This UPS protects my DSL modem, router, and satellite receiver from surges AND keeps them working through an outage. I especially like the very informative display and the replaceable batteries. I'm planning to buy another for my computer.

This is a very nice surge protection and battery backup for my PC. I like the display that shows how much of a load you are using at all times and how long you would be able to use on battery mode. Size is about that of a mini pc and doesn't take up that much room.

it is the first UPS I've ever bought. I got it for my PS3 & PS4. I have both plugged in plus the internet router and a 42" led TV and during failover test (everything was on except for the PS3) and it showed almost a hundred minutes which is far more than I expected. So far so good. No complaints. It does what it is supposed to do and I find it to be at lower price than others of similar capacity and features.

My home has frequent brownouts (When the power flickers but does not go out) and it has already saved me several times. With my TV, router and ps4 hooked into I get 1 hour to power everything down on battery backup, so plenty of time. Kicks on so fast and gives a live update on battery life. I went through the instructors to turn OFF the beeping noise as that got a bit annoying.

A bit pricey. But worth it. Depending on how many devices are on the battery. If the power goes out gives you just enough time to save your files/games and shut down your PC or game console appropiately. In my case just with the tv, console and modem on battery I get 43 minutes of battery power which is more than enough. The settings are easy to configure depending on your power needs you can set how often should the power change to battery. Which is nice for areas that have a really unstable power service. The battery has 4 on battery outlets and 4 surge protected outlets. The latter are not on battery but a welcome addition eliminating the need to set a multiplug on your setup. You can also run your network through the battery. But this looks more like an office feature rather than a thing to use at home. Not essential but nice to have.

I put my N40L WHS2011 on this unit. Software installed with no issues. Features are simple from the front panel as well as the software. You can schedule shut down and turn on. Keeps track of power events and will shut off computer when battery reaches 5 to 8 minutes of life left depending on your settings. I would say for the money it is a simple and easy unit. Set it and forget it!!

The CyberPower UPS is a sturdy, heavy upright box that I keep under my desk. The bright front display, which shows battery charge capacity & house voltage, shuts off after about 1 minute so it's not annoying in a dark room. I use it to provide backup power to 2 PCs & displays along with my wireless router & IP telephone.

I purchased this 1500VA due to having battery/backup issues with a Cyberpower 650VA - it didn't seem to be enough to support my computer, router, TV and sound system. So far this 1500VA seems to provide the needed backup power and surge protection for my computer, router and other items. It was easy to setup and monitor.

A few days after my purchase, we lost power. The unit worked as advertised. We were able to watch Netflix because I plugged the router into the unit. It also was handy because we were able to charge our cell phones with the USB PORTS on the front of the unit.

I bought this for my main work computer which is built from high-end gaming gear. It's an i5, 32GB RAM, 3 HDs, dual monitors and numerous fans. This UPS has protected my computer from the many brownouts and power hits we get in my area. The holdup time is well over an hour. During Hurricane Irma, when we lost power, I plugged a box fan into this UPS to help us sleep. After two days of charging up cell phones and flashlights, it powered the fan for 4.5 hours. My only complaint, if I were to have one, is that you cannot silence the alarm. So when you do have an extended power loss, like during the hurricanes, you have to listen to the alarm go off continuously. This is a great UPS, I would definitely recommend it.

I read several reviews before purchasing and will agree with all the positive reviews. UPS unit was easy to set up and gives you the piece of mind that your expensive equipment being powered through it is protected.

I have quite a few of these battery backups all around the house for all of my sensitive electronics - home/cell phones, tv, dvr, alarm clock, computer,... With numerous storms throughout the year and questionable power reliability in the area these battery backups have saved my electronics from getting damaged or destroyed. There are enough outlets on both the backup/surge sides to handle needs for even heavy users. The typical lifetime for each unit for myself has been over 3 years and it was 2 years before any appreciable degradation of battery life has been noticed. I am very happy with these units and will continue to use them in the future. Great for emergencies in Florida! :)

I would buy another one. The size is great! This backup system saves you money and gives you time to save your data in the case your power goes out for whatever reason. Great for your home or small office.

After having a really nasty round of storms while working from home, and losing power and the internet about 4 times within 30 minutes, I knew it was time to do something. I researched many different product options and the one that kept coming up with great reviews is the CyberPower Battery Backup system. The setup was pretty easy and it's nice to be able to see how much backup time is available based on what is turned on and being run through the system. It was about 5 days later that we had an momentary outage lasting 1-2 seconds. I immediately went over to see if the backup worked, and everything that was plugged in never rebooted or got reset. I was VERY pleased that it worked as advertised! So far, it's doing everything that we expected. It looks likes this unit is money well spent!

Got a good deal on this APC unit. I like the fact that it comes ready to go and you must press a button sequence in order to get the unit up and running vs having to plug the battery in within the internal connectors like other brand. Setup is easy and straight forward.

I used to go with the APS brand for over 15 years. They were good, but the units I have owned less then 8 years were failing and even with brand new APS brand batteries they were starting to act up. I would get battery fail chirp warnings and when the power went out it would only keep my system up for 5 minutes. In a pinch needing a a high wattage backup battery I bought one Cyberpower. It is almost 8 years old and is still perfect. It also kept my system up for 15 minutes instead of five minutes. Now all 3 work related computer stations are using Cyperpower and have never skipped a beat. They are more cost effective and work extremely well.
