This UPS is perfect for a standard laptop or desktop. However, if you're a gamer or enthusiast with several graphics cards in your PC, you'll need to step up to the big leagues, though you could use this one for your monitors, network components and other peripherals to reserve as much power for your main, if you later go that route. A++

We bought two of these because we live out in the country and have numerous outages with bad weather...or for no reason at all! This battery backup has worked wonderfully so far. It was easy to set up...and haven't had to worry about it since. My only concern will be the longevity of the system...Will let you know if things change.

Installed this for a customer they love it, it protects all their DMX lighting controllers for their outside RGB led lights I put in
