Good upgrade from 6-year old laptop

This replaces my 6-year old Asus gaming laptop. The build is good quality. Love the case and lighting options. Went for a Ryzen processor to blend multitasking and gaming at a reasonable price. Only knocking off a star because my computer was damaged in shipment. There was no foam packing or support to protect the hard drive. As a result, my HD had jostled loose and damaged the connectors, creating the need for an RMA, which CyberPowerPC is on top of. Got this on sale and have to say I couldn't have purchased these parts on their own and paid any less.

This is an excellent PC so far. I can play every game maxed out at 1080p 60 fps. I can even run an ultra modded Skyrim with ENB fairly well. It's also a great deal because of the current state of the graphics card market. Without a doubt, it would've been more expensive for me to build this PC myself. Plus, the case is big and roomy, so it provides great airflow.

*Note* Sorry for the poor picture quality :/... I lent my camera to a buddy over the week. So these are taken with my phone. And i haven't had time to do any cable management. TLDR: For the price, there's nothing out there than can beat it. I spent the better part of a year researching computers. For a while, i had planned on building my own. But this Pc blew me away in terms of expectations. It has a Ryzen 1600 6 core CPU, with a 1060. And what really surprised me, it was the 6gb VRAM version. However, usually, computers from Cyberpower ship with poor RAM, and PSUs. I am glad to say, this computer does not. Mine shipped with a 650W 80+ Bronze PSU, and 8Gb of DDR4 2400MHz RAM. The Ram is your standard crucial 2 x 4Gb kit, with rather poor heat spreaders. But it's a minor inconvenience. The CPU came with the stock wrath spire cooler. Which does a great job at cooling the CPU. however, the cooler was much smaller than i had assumed. But that's not really an issue. The GPU is a full length EVGA GTX 1060 6gb. With a matte grey finish, and no LEDs. It looks clean, and nice. However, there is a TON of unused space in the computer. While that provides great airflow. It makes the guts of the rig look "small." There is a stripe of LEDs on the bottom of the computer, along with a remote that can change the colors, as well as apply a strobe light. (Which looks like it could cause a seizure) The strip is good enough, but don't expect it to fill the case. The fans in the computer are all red LEDs, that cannot be changed. However, they don't really interrupt your color theme much. As for the side window, and my biggest complaint. It is a rather flimsy plastic. Not glass as i had been hoping. And bare in mind. It will get scratched, and smudged. There's nothing you can do about it. Mine was smudged from the factory. While on first glace, you can't really notice much. If you sit at the computer for any period of time, you'll notice it. It's best to simply accept it. Finally, performance. I'd just like to say this, you'll never know true happiness- until you load up your favorite game for the first time. And see that it was automatically set to the highest settings for you. Everything you play can be set to ultra, and you can fully expect 60+ FPS at all times. GTA 5, Fortnite, Insurgency, CSGO, and Arma 3 just to name a few. Run like a dream. No hiccup, and stutters at all. I really cannot stress enough how powerful this rig is. However, there is a catch. The computer is pretty loud. But in all honesty, unless you're typing up a paper. With no audio outside of your typing. You'l;l never notice it. And even then, it's nothing to be upset about. This is an absolute must buy.

I'm 49 years old & I've been a gamer since playing the Atari 2600 back in 1978. I've gotten a new gaming computer every 2-3 years since 1995. This one is bar-none the best I've ever had. I've always gotten them with Intel processors but this AMD processor is lightning fast! I love this computer!

This PC has my son satisfied and he loves playing it almost every day. Since he was a console gamer and wanted to try a more variety of games in his playstyle has helped him. This PC is a great quiet, and powerful PC for him and it's working great and he is satisfied!

I don’t know much about gaming computers, but my son is very happy with this. It certainly looks nice with the clear casing - you can change the background colors of both the computer and the keyboard. Stylish.

Awesome PC for my Oculus VR platform. The added LED color schemes and lighting on the associated keyboard, mouse, and box give it some added flare. Powerful enough to provide seamless graphics feed for Oculus Rift. Would definitely buy again.

This is an amazing deal. The best bang for buck. Cyberpower had to cut corners to fit it with a gtx 1060 6gb with a ryzen 1600, the weak point in this desktop is the ram. But ram can be upgraded easily when a good deal is available.

I got this computer because it was a good price for what i was looking for. I got this because if I ever wanted to upgrade I could easily do so. The case looks nice with the led strip and fans. The computer came ready to use, easily hooked up to a monitor and wallah. It came with a keyboard and mouse, which were of good quality. Shipping took ~7 days. Had it for several months now, no issues yet. It runs all games I like at 90+fps high. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Can't beat the build for the price

I bought this when it was on tax days sale, and while there was a minor inconvenience, the deal really was near impossible to beat; the processor and video card alone cost almost as much as the entire build. Not only does it run well, it looks great too. My only complaint as far as components go is that I do wish it had more RAM, or at least the option to upgrade it, as the Ryzen family of processors really like that extra space. That said, I was able to run a twitch stream, play World of Warcraft, and had forgotten that I had left my streaming software running (offline) and there wasn't a drop in performance or increase in noise, all while NOT being overclocked. So a little less memory did not warrant the 4-star. However, when I received my product, I found that the cable/connector to the hard-drive was snapped, apparently by the back case cover when it was being put on after jamming all the cables behind the board. I was able to connect it and let it rest in the slot, using the case cover to hold it in place, so it does work, but was definitely something to note. I called customer service and they said that the hard-drive isn't covered under warranty, but they'd replace it after putting a lock on my hard-drive until they received the original part. Since I had already moved everything to the new hard-drive and couldn't wait 2 weeks to use my computer, so I just had to make do.

Great pc for current video games.

I've had this computer for over a week and have ran it through its paces with various games and applications. This PC will run, as of February, every AAA title in 1080P at ultra high settings and very rarely fall below 60 FPS. I've always heard that building a PC is better than buying a prebuilt, but in the current condition of the video card market, being marked up because for various reasons, (miners) the process of building a PC from just the components into a fully functional computer is more expensive than originally thought. Going this route saved me around 300 bucks if I bought each individual item separately. There are a couple of things I wish came with the computer but I understand that cyberpower has to make a profit as well, so I will be upgrading the PSU, MOBO and M.2 SSD, all of these components cost more and is understandable that they are not in the box. I went into this purchase understanding what I was getting and I got exactly what I wanted. as far as I can tell a bunch of the reviews on youtube and various other sites are just ridiculous and hold no merit to this product. I would highly recommend this to anybody and if you want a perfect machine out of the box you might have to do some of the work yourself. also, the keyboard and mouse shipped with the PC is enough to get by for a good amount of time.
