Great starter gaming pc!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently received this computer for my birthday as a gift and it has worked great for my so far! The only downside I've had with this is no CD/DVD-ROM drive but I bought a USB one and it works just fine. I definitely will be buying more stuff from CyberPowerpc in the future.

CYBERPOWERPC Desktop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GUA1200BST is a excellent Desktop for Gaming. And a good thing is its upgradable for both the PSU and Graphics Cards if you need to replace anything or upgrade some in the future. Unlike most of the other systems out at Best Buy where everything is built into the motherboard and cannot ever be upgradeable. The only thing that I would say I did not think was decent was the wireless card that comes with it did not work very well. But like most gamers you need to be wired if your playing a online game so it did not matter that much to me. You also need to purchase a connectable dvd player, but they are pretty cheap at Best Buy.

In Love
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My boyfriend bought me this computer for my birthday and from the moment I laid eyes on it I've been in love. Not only does the design of the tower and lighting system drawn your eyes consistently but the efficiency and easy operation makes it a dream. I love coming home to it and playing games. The keyboard and mouse are wonderfully built and are great additions. The only complaint I have is I think it should have come with a little more to the start guide showing the layout and buttons on the tower, and the guide that came with it had driver cds where the tower doesn't have a cd-rom drive. Great choice overall.

Great First Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm now an avid PC gamer, but I'm also on a budget. I didn't want to go breaking the bank on a machine right away because I didn't know what my time restrictions would be like. I got this back in November (black friday sale I believe) and it has been great! Been able to run League of Legends without any problems. I do plan on upgrading eventually, but it seems like it should be pretty easy to swap parts out with this machine. I gave it 4 stars because of the wireless adapter that came with it. If you have the chance to hard wire in, I would recommend it. Otherwise you should look at getting a different wireless adapter because the one that comes with it, wasn't working the best for me.

Everything seems great so far,
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no major issues to mention. Everything seems to be pretty perfect for my needs. I primarily have been using this PC to play PC games. I have not noticed any frame issues or stutters with any of the games I have been playing. The games I've been playing include, Overwatch (High Settings), Dota 2 (Max Settings), Team Fortress 2 (Max Settings), and Skyrim (High Settings). There is one issue, it is a small one for me personally, but it could be a bigger issue for others. I have not been able to find out how to change the colors on the LED strip in the case. The image in the product listing implies that the color can be changed, I just have not been able to figure it out.

A very capable machine!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this machine to replace my 10+ year old Athlon 64 machine. Because I'm a Linux user, I removed the Windows-loaded drive and installed a 1TB hard drive to contain the Linux distro I wanted to use (Mint 18.1). I also "installed" my old Linux drive so I could "recover" my data files. My initial impressions: the case is impressive-looking! I especially like the tempered glass side panel that allows me to see the guts of the machine. The internal LED illumination strip is very "showy" and makes an interesting "night light" (I disconnected the LED strip from its' power connector as a personal preference). The internal wiring is, essentially, NON-EXISTENT! all major "cabling" is neatly "tucked away" behind the removable black metal panel! removing this panel shows very neatly routed cabling that's secured to "slots" by velcro ties. The power supply wiring is neatly bundled in an area UNDER the PC. The hard drive also resides here, slickly mounted in an EASILY-REMOVABLE carrier (there is room for two 3.5" form-factor hard drives), and its' cabling (SATA interface) is also Neatly routed/secured behind the cover. In fact, there are VERY FEW cables in the main "box area": MOBO power cables and a SATA cable that feeds through "grommeted" holes to the "back". If you add another SATA drive (the MOBO has SIX SATA ports!), the cable will route easily to where the drive will mount (next to the power supply). Finally, there are SIX USB 2 ports (4 on MOBO and 2 on top of the case). There are also microphone and headphone jacks on the case top for Gamers. With the above "pluses", I do wish it had a built-in DVD drive ("solved" by purchasing an external DVD writer). I am mildly disappointed that the installed MOBO only has ONE free PCI slot and the PCI-X1 expansion slot is covered by the Radeon video card (IOW, I can't install a USB 3.x port card AND use the Radeon card). Because of this "shortcoming" of the MOBO, and the unit doesn't have an internal DVD writer, I would give it a 5 star rating. Performance: I'm VERY IMPRESSED with the FX-4300 processor! Linux reports using ALL 4 PROCESSORS during operation and I must say the overall "speed" is MUCH FASTER than what I had. The MOBO has the "FM3+" socket, so I can replace the current processor with a "hotter" FX-series processor (i.e., 8-core unit) if I desire. The Radeon 460 video card is impressive in its' display capabilities, and Does Much Better since I installed the Radeon Linux drivers (D/L'ed from the Radeon web site). I did install Linux Mint on the new drive and I will "play with it". However, I was VERY PLEASED when I was able to DIRECTLY BOOT from my current Linux drive (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, 64-bit). At this time I'm using the Ubuntu drive until I decide to "fully migrate" to the Mint drive. When powered, the unit is VERY QUIET considering there are TWO case fans (intake and exhaust), ONE CPU fan, the fan in the power supply, and there's lots of "empty space" in the box. The system comes with 8G of RAM (two 4G memory sticks), that can be upgraded to 16G (two 8G sticks) if desired. However, for my (current) needs, it's much better than the 4G of memory in my old system. Summary: if you're looking for a "decent power" machine, don't want to spend a lot, and don't mind not having a built-in DVD drive and "liimted" MOBO expansion, this machine should Fit The Bill (especially if it's time to Upgrade To Better Hardware :) ).

Started strong then took a dump
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To preface, I play Warcraft and diablo 3, zero interest in other games. I purchased this computer on Friday night, took it home installed wow, my razer mouse and keyboard. The mouse I had been using perfectly fine on my iMac continually froze and the thumb pad that is half the reason for using said mouse never worked. The frames on the game were stellar. 50-60 FPS on the highest possible setting. Then I went into a dungeon... framrates dipped to 17. I turned the graphics down no change from ultra to bottomed out graphics. I will be returning this tower tomorrow after work. You don’t spend over $500 for something to be a complete waste of space. If the problems are solved this will be changed but as a first step back into the PC world I’m unimpressed.
