Some annoying problems

The USB ports on top have never worked properly so have the unit turned around and plugged them in the back. Now my monitor shuts down about 2 seconds after turning on. Thought the monitor had gone bad so bought a new monitor. Same issue. Looked on Youtube to see if I could find a solution; video suggested I go to settings, but the monitor doesn't stay on long enough to go to settings. Talked to customer service here, but since I did not buy Geek Squad Protection I have to contact manufacturer for warranty work. Best Buy should just include Geek Squad in price so that you have protection when you purchase an item. Am pleased with computer operation when it works.
