Gets way too hot, gpu makes a grinding sound

I usually just build my own gaming machine, but this was on sale and about the same price as building it myself so went for it. Looks fairly nice out of the box. But none of that really matters given the gpu makes an annoying rattling/grinding noise after it starts getting hot. And this thing gets really hot. There aren't enough exhaust fans, and a lot of heat radiates off the gpu into the case, so the longer you play it the hotter everything inside the case gets. Found a few videos/forum posts suggesting this just may be a defect in this ASRock Challenger graphics card, so I emailed support asking if they could just replace it with a different brand. They said I could RMA the card, but they couldn't guarantee it would be a different model or brand because they just use whatever is in stock at the time. So could end up waiting months for an RMA just to have the same problem. Not to mention I would really need to add some more case fans to blow air out. And Best Buy isn't doing returns right now because of the whole covid thing. Really hope I don't get stuck with this.

GPU was defective

Not happy..

Always stops in the middle of what I'm doing, and blue screen pops up and can't exit out or restart, so have to do a Hard Down and restart.

Terrible CPU with no support

It is loud and can become stuck in a high fan state. The worst part of it is that it will NOT wake at all. I've changed the setting, making sure that it doesn't hibernate or sleep. Still, when I leave it for a while (30 minutes, 2 hours, etc.) It has a black screen, will not recognize any keyboard/mouse commands, and requires a hard boot in order to come back. There is also no such thing as customer support. STAY AWAY from this junk!

Very Sad

I bought this as a christmas present for myself which i've been wanting for about two years i even shipped it too the store to avoid it being damaged. The delivery was fast. When i got home and booted up the pc it seemed fine until i downloaded a childhood game, once the game loaded up i noticed that all the graphics weren't fully rendering and showing so i thought it was the game so i downloaded another game to try it and it instantly crashed after this my computer kept going black for a couple seconds or just freezing. I had the drivers up to date and had the same problem, I even emailed CyberPower for help but never got a response. I got this Pc because it was a prebuilt to avoid building it and i trusted the product to work right away but that was wrong. I returned the product and ended up building my pc instead which i highly suggest, you might be skeptical with the hardware but anyone can do it by following a GOOD guide. Don't buy Prebuilts Build your own.

Bad Experience

The first would randomly reboot by itself without warning. The second and third units have both had extremely loud and annoying fan sounds. I’ll be returning for a full refund. On a positive note, I do like the case and the lighting is nice. For over a thousand dollars though, there should be minimal fan noise.

Do not buy. No quality testing

If you use newer Xbox controllers, or headsets, or even bluetooth keyboard and mouse, go with something else. Somehow, bluetooth will crash any game if you dare use it. I reinstalled Windows to try and fix the problem, but no go. 2. Horrible support. I went to the cyberpower website to try and fix the problems with newer drivers and it referred me to third party component sites. I could have built this thing myself if I wanted to have resort to reaching out to multiple companies. But there is absolutely no support for the specific computer you purchased. You are on your own. 3. You know how you see a Windows logo and a progress circle when you turn on your computer? Nope. Not this piece of junk. You get a blank screen until it comes to the login page. So if I'm installing an update and it seems like it is taking a long time, I have no idea if the computer is locked up or working normally. It is as if no one tested this crap before they shipped it out. Oh....wait.... 4. There is a sticker on the back of the PC that blatantly says Cyberpowerpc doesn't test the unit after it is assembled. I wish I were making that up. Bestbuy can do better than offer poor products like these.

In regards to the FCC sticker, please keep in mind that, the sticker indicates the parts have been individually tested to meet FCC standards before being assembled. Due to FCC regulations, the system as a whole does not need to be tested, since the parts have passed FCC regulations. However, we test the system prior to it be sent out to ensure the PC is functioning. We have drivers available on our website for our custom boards. Horrible product

I was so excited to make my first pc purchase ever. Since I was a kid I could remember begging my parents for a pc, but we were to poor to even to do such. So I have waited 20 years for this eventful day. Like a little kid at Christmas I was waiting at my door waiting for the UPS man to arrive with my first ever pc. I was so excited. As I unboxed this machine I was shaking with joy reading the instructions carefully, as I set it up correctly. I plug it in and turn it on, and all seems well until it crashed on me. So I was like no big deal it’s new and things happen. Fast forward five hours later. It continues to crash and my anger began to grow. After long phone calls with the technical support and trying everything on Reddit and google. Still nothing and I was stuck with the same problem I am currently sitting here while it is stuck on the loading screen. I am very disappointed with this product. If I drop $1390.00 i would at least expect this thing to be game ready but no. It was an absolute waste of money. I will be sending this machine back.

No windows 10

Performance was great but was getting BSOD

I analyzed the crash dumps and there was more than one error happening, so it lead me to believe it was a pretty serious problem. I would think this was an isolated issue, but if you have problems I would return it right away. Return was excellent with no questions asked.

Garbage

It has crashed so many times its driving me mad. I dont have any experience with PC hardware so i dont want to open it up and break it. Video_TDR_Failure ALL DAY! god forbid if you try to full screen any game. Guarenteed crash. BTW most games you buy launch at fullscreen by default. Have fun with that. i am utterly disappointed on this purchase. I've been ripped off. I tried using a different monitor to see if it wouldnt crash and nope it crashed at my desktop. Sometimes Crashes on START UP! I got a faulty Video Card or they didnt install it correctly. DO NOT BUY!
