Started over heating & shutting down after 3 days

Ny wife needed a good computer to work from home - Not for gaming. It worked fine for 3 days. Shut it off on Friday 3/20. Turned on Monday, 03/23. It ran for 1 hr and shut down. Tried several more times with same result. Called Cyberpower tech. We checked several things, but to no avail. Have been trying to return it, but store is closed and I am not loosing refund $, by using BB's "prepaid" shipping return label. (Cost of shipping may be deducted from your refund.) Can get no answer from BB. Call their toll free and request agent - You get disconnected. Product is bad, so is BB's response to customer.

Do not buy

Took it to Best Buy and we find out the entire liquid cooling system is a dud and no lingers works causing the pc to overheat and crash. Not covered under warranty 6 freaking months after purchase. So we had to pay hundreds of dollars for new hardware as well as labor to fix it. Unbelievable. Another issue is the headphone jack. Since day one the internal component has been loose abs wiggling around - now it doesn’t work at all. This was an xmas gift for my husband and we are beyond dissatisfied. Never when we will buy from this company

Great specs that dont work

Ive had for under 2 weeks which thank god I have 2 more days. I was kind of hesitant to buy at the beginning because of the negative reviews about blue screen, the graphics card acting up etc. Well here I am having a graphics card issue... when my pc runs idle for say 20 min I have it set up to where it doesnt sleep... I'll go to do a task and sure enough the screen will go black I've even had it go green. Black says lost signal. Had to hard reset... came back on... but for the price shouldn't have to deal with these issues.

Issues with Drivers

I was disappointed in the performance in basic games like left 4 dead 2. I ended up exchanging for another pc. Glad I was able to do that with Best Buy to get taken care of.

Blue Screen after 1 1/2 year light-moderate use

About a month ago my computer starts popping up with the blue screen of death randomly. Now it happens daily and it completely shuts my PC off and restarts it when Im in the middle of working. Completely frustrated that a year old PC after light-moderate use is going to blow up on me any day now.

Terrible Computer

Was fine for about a year and I started experiencing issues with it once the warranty was up. Don't waste your money, just build one yourself. I always have issues trying to play games on it now, it just crashes no matter what I do, all my drivers and everything is up to date and this PC is more than capable of running the games I play perfectly fine.

Be aware you will pay for the shipping for them to fix it under their warranty, over $100. 13 months later went down again. Because its out of warranty CyberpowerPC tech support is very unhelpful and they do not sell any of the parts even the ones made specifically for their machines. DO NOT BUY!!!

Poor manufacturing pc desktop

When i bought it they offered 2 protection plan one for the hardware and the other one for damaged i agree for both at the and i didn't check my recipe because I thought they did everything correctly but i found out that they just put the hardware plan so dosen't cover the glass that broke im so disappointed

Not reliable and poor customer service

Took 3 weeks for CyberPower to get a replacement. New card failed again after 2 weeks. Still waiting on replacement. When I asked tech if he was sure it was the graphics card again, he said yes and that he personally went through 6 before getting a good one.

Easy setup and is fast once you tweak...

This thing screams. Fast boot and setup out the box and surprisingly the windows installation came with zero bloat. Suggest you update windows immediately, update the Radeon software and update the Intel Wifi/Bluetooth drivers. After update make sure your motherboard has the XMP profile set for the memory properly and you should be off to the races. A Great Mid Range PC

I've had this PC for over 5 years and its still going strong with minor issues here and there. The Good - GPU and processor were amazing for the time and still hold up well playing more intensive titles released in 2025. -Large 2TB HDD -Plenty of ports for multiple monitors & Accessories. -SSD port and extra RAM ports in motherboard. The Not So Good -The rear fan is a bit cheap and can get shifted out of its casing causing noise and grinding if its not readjusted. - Had a minor issue with a plastic piece snapping that holds the heatsink to the processor causing the power to be cut off before overheating. Easy fix but it happened only a year after purchasing it. -Fans can be loud. I've used this pc daily for many years and if I do ever get a pre build tower again I would definitely recommend CyberPowerPC.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for some good deals on computers and stumbled upon this and was thinking that this has everything I would need so I looked at the price and it was $1,300 and that was pricey but I had a sale going on so it was $1,050 which was a good deal to me so I bought it. I had a pickup and not shipping so I don't know about their shipping quality but the pickup was good and it was nicely packaged and was pretty happy with it. I started running it and was pretty smooth. I loaded up some games and they were running all good and were smooth! The fan noise gets a little loud now and then but it isn't too bad. Overall, I recommend this to gamers who are looking for high end games to run smoothly and have good frame rates!
