had to purchase a new laptop for the family as the 9 year old gaming laptop we had was beyond end of life. shopped and researched and settled on the Traver IV R Xtreme GTX99816 for a lot of reasons but price was the main driver. the Ryzen 7, 16gb RAM, 1TB SSD, 144hz refresh and plenty of connectors. my wife needs to use the big display for WFH and the kid and I need it for gaming. we are very impressed! especially considering the price point. laptop arrived 10 days ahead of schedule. the packaging from CyberPowerPC was obviously done by someone who cares to ensure the computer arrived in factory condition. Out of the box only took about 15 minutes to complete the initial setup and we were off and running. So far it is running cool as a cucumber and flying through the games we play. never get a gaming laptop without an aluminum chassis. could not believe it existed at this price. i believe the location of the side and rear vents has a lot to do with this as well. we have a 10" cooling pad just in case but have had to use it yet. the display is beautiful, bright, crisp and no lag or stutter encountered. we probably won't get to use the RGB lights much since my wife will use this for work as well.
