Very small, very affordable and checks the main boxes for simple switch needs (5 ports, gigabit speeds, QoS, etc). I had a similar 8-port D-link in my household already which has been going strong for 4+ years and I have no doubts this one will do the same.

Set up is essentially plug and play. I needed to add an additional ethernet cable to our bedroom. This was the easiest solution instead of running another line from the router through the attic and wall. Also wanted a stronger connection than the WIFi provides. The signal is strong to both the DVR and SlingBox that we have in the room. Also helped to get a stronger signal between the router and SlingBox for streaming video to our outside TV.

Installation was a snap. I was amazed at how it started working immediately. I really only needed this for some extra ports since the world is so connected now and my router was full. It's a nice option that was inexpensive.

Small compact router, quick setup fast speeds. Would buy again.

I use it for connecting my entertainment hub. It does the job and looks very nice because it's piano black and curved.

Perfect solution for my first world problem. I have a 50ft Ethernet cable running from my router in the living room down the hall to my office where I hardwire it to my PC. Recently I moved one of my PS4s in there to use with my PC monitor and had to keep getting under the desk to swap the Ethernet cable from PC to PS4 (I prefer everything to be hardwired, much faster speeds) Up to 5 times a day got super annoying. With this switch I have it hardwired to my router and 2 small cables connected to both machines. They both now have their own Ethernet cable and run just as fast as before. Great product!

Plug and go, nothing much more else to it. Make sure your came is cat 5e or cat 6 if using the 1000 gbps speed.

I like this switch and it does what it says. I find that the way the LED's turn amber or green based upon the throughput is very useful. Its so small and energy efficient that it can run off of a USB power source. I wish it had thumbtack holes to put on a wall. A good product none the less, you can purchase this confidently.

Excellent gigabit switch for expanding your network! It works easily and flawlessly. Just plug in the adapter and connect your network cables and you're off! It works well, doesn't overheat, and has served me well for more than 2 years now. I even bought another one for another part of my house where there weren't enough network ports. These are always a great value and deliver every time!

Been using this for over a year and it is working great. Very affordable and small to tuck away neatly.
