This router is awesome! You won't be disappointed!

This red tarantula looking router not only looks great, but it is very easy to set up with any browser. Worked immediately upon plugging it in and password setup took a couple of minutes. Range is great and manages many devices without any loss of speed. Only issue is for ongoing management, you must upgrade Java and most browsers have it locked due to security risk, so you must do a workaround.

After about a year on the previous router it was time to upgrade as I was unable to get a reliable connection throughout the house (Netgear router). The house is 3 stories with tons of solid concrete walls/floors and needed a router strong enough to reach the basement (network box sits on the 3rd floor). Though this router is more than I had inteded on paying, I am glad I pulled the trigger as I now have range throughout the entire home and it even reaches 3 houses up/down the street. Did have initial issues with the setup wizard but after a quick call to support, I was on my way. Now I can take full advantage of my ISP!

I recently purchased this AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router to replace an old DLink router. I wanted to boost the WIFI in my home so it could support my devices, security cameras, etc. The set up was easy, but when it came to connecting a Windows 10 laptop to my router network, I had difficulty connecting. I contacted Tech Support and spoke with Ronnell ID # AR004624, who spent at least an hour with me troubleshooting the problem. Once he walked me through everything we were able to get my laptop connected. He was very patient, friendly and explained everything that I had to do. Now my laptop is connecting faster than ever! Thanks Ronnell and DLink Tech Support! Tip for you: This model has 3 wireless functions and you must disable the setting that combines them in the Dlink Router Wireless Settings. I named the two 5 GHz [network name] A and [network name] B so when I try to connect to them I know which one is which. Hope this helps someone else.

Out of the box setup was quite simple. I had two issues connecting wireless devices (an old kindle and an Epson WF-3450 inkjet printer). I downloaded the firmware updates, but for some reason, could not decompress them. I called support and representative AR004630 was quite helpful in applying the updates. She also stayed on the phone while I reconfigured the router for our local network security. Thumbs up for 24 hour support! We have about 10 wireless devices that are working perfectly with no signal degredation at all. Very impressive...

I gave it a 4 star , not able to try all the functions. its possible that this is a great router, but for customers using Verizon Fios your not going to be able to use all of the functions, so if your looking to use the VPN function ,forget about it ,unless you know how to disable the NAT from Verizon. That is keep it from sending an IP address. Verizon Will not help. and D-link can not. But for the most part I do like the router. Its very easy to setup. The only other thing I didn't like is every time I switch to another account I have to keep re-entering my passcode. since I'm using a 25 characters password its time consuming . I think the information about the double NAT should be put on the box and not on the installation manual inside, so that the customer isn't surprised when reading the manual. Its an expensive router / modem and you may wind up using it as an extender. when you could buy something cheaper for that purpose. I was lucky enough to have a Tech who's first name was Randy who know from the start why my VPN wasn't working. I had called in prior to reaching Randy and that Tech. was reading from a manual , it was obvious that he didn't know the product. I Will be checking off yes below where it says, would I recommend to a friend. But this is only after explaining to them some of the pitfalls .

Love the modern design. While the design is what I really like most about this particular router, its functionality is what got me to purchase it. I had been having problems with wifi range and connection at our house consisting of multiple iphones, ipads, roku, and gaming stations (ie, lan parties). I got fed up with my wifi problems so I was prompted to make a purchase where I wouldn’t have to deal with those issues any further. Range increased outwards to the backyard for bbq’s and I was also able to surf normally on my ipad by the pool (where I had not been able to before with my tp link). Bandwidth efficiency has greatly improved (no d/c, lag, etc)--now I can have friends and family over for lan parties with peace of mind! Finally! Thank you QoS!! I’m pretty sure I won’t be needing any router upgrades for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended.

Had to return to the store kept getting error message and kept loosing Internet connection

Simply put the best router I have ever owned, simple to install with great coverage and more than enough oomph to support all the devices we use, including a wireless sonos system

Saw this online and hesitated because of the price. Once my old router started having issues i pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. this thing looks great and preforms even better. setup was easy with one small issue online but with a quick phone call to D-Link service (tech badge AR004214) everything was was back on track the tech even helped me with another issue unrelated. I should have gotten this sooner. 2 computers, 3 phones, 2 tablets, 1 Bluray, + friends and family devices.

After one year, I have not experienced a single problem with this router. The coverage is fantastic for my 3400 Sq Ft ranch home and I have many devices wired (I had to expand my 16 port D-Link gigabit switch with another 8 port) plus 12 wireless devices (up to 24 devices when the kids and grandkids come to dinner). We have a 127 Mbps download plus a 12 Mbps upload wireless ac connection with Comcast Xfinity. It is connected to a line conditioner with battery backup and we have never missed a beat in a year. I deployed it in the basement because it is huge and bright red. I am about to purchase a second unit for my office. I could not be happier with my purchase. It just works.

I bought this router since our Asus router did not extend to the farthest reaches of the house. This router is very fast, but after a power outage the download speed went from 60 Mbps to 7.85 Mbps. I called customer support (Tech AR004620) and he asked me to verify the IPV6 setting - when he had me change that from auto detection to local connectivity only the speed went right back up. The one negative is whenever there is a power outage I have to change the IPV6 setting to something else and back again, but I give this 5 stars regardless since the customer support was fast, knowledgeable and efficient.

Bought a new router but had problems with the install. Tried to upgrade the firmware, but it didn't work. Called tech support and talked with Marvin (AR004612) who was great. He was very patient and knowledgeable and got me back up and working. Looking forward to using this beast of a router.

Great router and service from D-Link. Easy to install. Had one problem initially with the fact my modem was set up for wireless too, but AR004620 at D Links helped me. C6764957 Family can game, watch movies and surf without any problems.

Agent #AR04211 from D-link was excellent. You need to be patient and confident that any problems or issues will get resolved. This is worth the price for the product that soon had all 7 of my cameras working without interruptions with any other frequency setup requirements.

Very helpful and kind assistance from the kind people at D-Link who gave step by step instruction for set-up and operation. Assistant AR004639 was especially helpful in showing how to set-up my router even though I had very little knowledge about the device beforehand.
