I would recommend this camera to home owners and business owners very lite weight and can be put into any spot and go unnoticeable plus it was also reasonable priced.

Purchased this Camera to monitor home while traveling on vacation - pleasantly surprised with the video quality and images plus the ability to zoom in. Your frame rate depends on your Wi-Fi connection or 4G connection. Great bonus is that you get audio as well! I installed my camera using the convenient wall-mounted and positioned it exactly where I needed it. Set up took longer than expected and the only reason I wouldn't give this product five stars is that the D link website seems to be a little buggy at times especially during set up. Other than that the camera works fine on my tablet smart phone and PCs. I've had trouble viewing from my MacBook Pro however that seems to be a configuration issue not a big deal considering I use my smart phone or tablet mostly.

Had it for a little over a month. We have another Dlink PTZ camera and needed a small portable camera to move around indoors. The view angle is about 90 degrees. The resolution is not as good as I thought it would be but given the size of the lens and camera it's good enough for our purposes. I like how you can set email notifications and remote viewing through myDlink account and app. As others had trouble getting the wifi extender feature to work.

Purchased the camera to be able to keep an eye on a loved one from home. Was no problem setting it up to review on multiple screens.

If you are looking for an inexpensive camera to help secure your house, this is the camera for you.

very good camera with good vision and easy to control.

Works well for the price. Image was good in a dimly lit room for night time monitoring. Sound volume in the app could be better.

I recently install this camera inside the garage facing my driveway so that I can check I leave the garage open and sometimes I forgot if I close the garage when going for work. Its a good camera for safety purposes. clear and easy to install...

I would have given this camera five stars but the base or stand broke after only a week and without anything hitting it or it falling. Also if there was more image control. But other than that it is easy and quick to set up and easy to connect to. All you do is login and your connected just like the instruction says. Nice clear picture even at night.

easy to set up, wish it would do more than 15 secs of recording or reset if there is prolonged movement but works great.

I got this camera to keep an eye on my dogs. It has a nice color picture and works well. It stays connected to my network with no problems. I still have to figure out how to set it up to get snapshots in my emails, as it detects motion very well. I just have to learn a little more about it. I would recommend it.

It's great for viewing a very specific spot. Lighting is fine in the dark . You can hear and see life feed but can not record or make a snap shot. Also , there is no movement notice..overall ok for the money spent. Will invest a bit more next time for better capabilities..it's worth an extra 10-20 bucks.

Love this camera, works great, and like the notification receive per settings. Able you view what's happening in my home without any additional services. Already have recommended this product to family and friends! !! Comes very handy, and provides some peace of mind.

Nice piece of equipment, reasonably priced....need additional hardware or service agreements (?) to save the data

We purchased this so that we could "monitor" our home while we are out of town. I set up a little area where I place a thermometer to confirm our furnace is heating properly and can see if we have any kind of water leak in our kitchen. The camera where very easy to connect to our home WiFi. I use their smart phone app to connect to the camera remotely. Very easy to use!

I purchased this to keep an eye on my baby's room as my other monitors went out. I can hardly get it to work or 'keep' the signal. The app doesn't work well either. I have to reload the app quite often to try & get the image to pull up. Set up was awful as it took nearly 3 straight days. If I hadn't called D-Link, I would have never gotten it up & running, and I'm technologically savvy. They had to reset it multiple times (and it was right out of the box)...and the people there were not the most knowledgable. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because when it actually DOES work (which is not often) it has a good picture quality & real time video streaming. Wish it were more reliable & wish the app was easier to use (or should I also say more reliable). Don't waste your money!

I even has 1 mounted outside at our mountain cabin, works great. Also got a second 1000 and a 5000 camera.

Install was easy. Size wasn't too bad, so if you're lookin for something small and efficient here it is

Like my summary says. I own a bunch of these and they are so simple to install and access. No fees required, just your own router and a little time to configure, it does most of the work. I check in on the house often for peace of mind.
