Like the other reviewer, I bought this to replace the older version which lasted about 20 years before failing. This new version installed easily, perfect fit. I had extra space left in the back. Only had minor adjustments to the cabinet front panel placement as I moved it from old warming drawer and screwed it into this new one. Slightly different screw layout and mounting panel. It was an easy install with simple plug in overall. The new control interface is much better. Other than that it does what it is supposed as a Samsung warming drawer. Cons *Really priced high for what it is - but so are all higher end appliances. This brand is price locked to the same price everywhere. Choosing Best Buy, at least I could get some cash back. *In the US, upon registering for warranty at Samsung's Dacor online site, you only get a standard 1 year warranty. Not too worried considering how long the original version lasted... but for this prices... 3 years 5 years or 7 years seems more appropriate! (minus one star for that)

I got the warming drawer to replace the previous model. Since it was going into the exact same space as the old one I needed to make sure the dimension were exactly the same. Almost, be aware that this one is about 0.5" deeper, which required me to cut out the back of the cabinet. As a warming drawer, it's excellent, works just as advertised, however a little on the expensive side.
