    This was a pretty good homage to the original show. However, the plot was too little as it was done for a full-blown movie. I enjoyed it, but there were too many times when it slowed down to a crawl in order to either promote some very obvious plot points or stretch it into full movie length.

    I like BritComs and Dads Amry is an entertaining and very funny one. They did very well with the movie; I like the cast they got for the movie.

    When I first saw this film on the shelf, I thought this was a hidden gem with a relatively good cast . The prospect of a WWII comedy also was attractive. However, the film was a letdown with the actors just gong through their paces. Buyer beware !
