This in room AC is great or a small room. The only issue we had was getting the exhaust vent to stay in the window. I do recommend this to anyone needing an alternative to the traditional window AC unit.

a good portable ac I actually thought at first it was gonna be a waste of money ... the next couple of days it proved me wrong . It freezes my bedroom up ... I plan on gettin another one for the living room

Does exactly what we wanted, cools a guest room. We have horizontal sliding windows and the kit fit nicely.

Its a good buy if you cant put a window ac unit . It works best in small open rooms not recommended if you life in an area thats 80 degrees or above... but overall happy with my purchase

This unit I purchased from best buy was a fantastic buy. It will throw ice cubes at you. I am in a cramped office and have to deal with 14 wrecker drivers and e dispatchers so at times it gets very hot lol. But again great buy.

Great for cooling a small room! The only thing I dislike is that the air filter needs to stick out of the window. I can't put my blinds all the way down because of this.

this is a great product, I did have to put a fan on top to spread the cool in my bedroom....otherwise I was saved from these hot days and nights we had this summer...

we purchased this unit for our popup camper-- it works great, and we all slept through the night in 85+ degree humid weather

This is a clean-looking unit that is easier to install than a window unit and easier to move around as well. The instruction manual is slightly confusing and the unit delivers slightly less cooling power than hoped for.

I studied a lot to find a good price portable air conditioner. I have not fully test the unit yet but the price was fair.

Great price for this product. Only problem is the hose that vents the hot air is hard to put back in when it pops out.

My home's central a/c needs to be replaced. While waiting, I purchased this a/c portable unit and it works perfectly in a medium size bedroom. I had to buy a second unit 12,000BTU for the living room. This Danby unit works great in a bedroom or small room.

I like the features. It is easy to use. I have'nt used all the functions yet, but it's nice knowing I have them.

The overall design of the unit is acceptable, and feels sturdy and well built. Unfortunately the power button on the small remote stopped working right away but the remote feels cheap, so I am not judging the craftsmanship of the unit based on the remote. That said however, I'm a tad disappointed in the unit's inability to cool down a small bedroom (208 square feet) with the door closed below 76 degrees, even when the outside temperature was only 85. I feel cool air blowing out the top, and the unit is vented out the window of course, but it shouldn't struggle to cool a room this small at any BTU. I have to wonder if the unit is partially defective and will speak with Best Buy about that when I address the remote control.

Love it!! gets cold fast and eco friendly coolant which is always a plus for me. It's a fan, air conditioner and dehumidifier all in ONE.
