In Oregon we don't get too many hot days but this air conditioner REALLY cools down our bedroom when the hot weather hits. I can't sleep when it gets hot and this air conditioner can be set to go low enough that it is comfortable to have a decent blanket to sleep with. It was easy to install. It took me maybe 15 minutes and even easier to figure out how to use. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking to cool a smaller space. We've had it for a month and it isn't loud enough that it keeps you awake just enough to act as background noise. My husband can't sleep without it now.

This is one of the cheapest stand-up AC units I could find. The fan goes out on top, which is a bonus for me. Also, it comes with a blind that lets you lead the hot air out of basically any type and size of window, including sliding windows. Its power is limited, but it is a decent buy for the money.

I purchased this with the intention of being able to move it from room to room as needed when working and JT does a fantastic job supplementing the central air in my rooms that has many windows and the natural sun beaming in.

These units cool a small room down quickly, they are a little more complicated to install if yiou have to drill a 5" hole tru the wall. I am using these for gibbon ape houses and usually turn them on around 5 and off at 9 and turn over to fan. It's been one hot summer even for apes. The AC cords are short so in some cases you may need a regular plug AC extension cord. I have not drained the water yet in any but the plug is close to floor and bough a small tray with a lip for draining when the time comes.

Does a great job in bedrooms. Cools room quickly and runs quiet. We have three of these units now and are very pleased with them.

This is my first free-standing AC. It does a fine job of cooling my bedroom but it never quite gets below 70*. (I set it for 68-69*) It does allow me to sleep comfortably which is all I need but I have considered returning it for a window unit of larger BTUs.

I like this portable air conditioner. It was easy to install and it is working fine. My room was so hot but now cool and fresh.

Not the easiest to use and I would not really consider it or other models like it much better or more portable than a cheap window unit, but it worked when I needed a fix with a big wait from the ac company.

Easily cools my small room in my apartment. I keep it at 75 when I'm away and turn it down a few degrees when I get home and it quickly drops the room temp.

I love having this air conditioner. Not only can it be moved from room to room but keeps a decent size room cool, and keeps me from experiencing the heat.

Works great still... Might want to add some insulation to the window adapter part for a better seal. Make sure you have a power outlet near window also.

We work in our garage a lot and this has kept us from melting! Works great!

We are happy we have AC now. It was very affordable.

Easy to put together and it stays together. Would be 5 stars, but the remote and unit read out is all pictures and sometimes they are confusing.
