We like the portable air conditioner because we can move it easily to where we need it. It is quiet and comfortable.

Does what we bought it for - cools an upstairs bedroom where the central air doesn't work adequately. But it does use a fair amount of power. Noise level isn't too bad.

The Danby 8,000 BTU cools so fast and it's only set to low.. Wow! No more waiting for your old AC clunker to kick in. With the Danby, you'll feel it immediately! Easy setup and the remote makes operating simple. I have already recommended this to my friends.

Great air conditioner that does the job. Keeps the house really cold.

I bought this product since Danby has good name and this was reasonably priced. But very sorry to say that cooling the room was not that great. Now there were other factors like old insulation in older home, and gaps let the air out since its not sealed well. But overall, okay cooling for that price.

Bought this to cool a very open family room. Works good considering it is such and open space. Not amazing, but cools the room down.

I have this unit it a small room. The temperatures where I live have been in the 80s-90s and this unit does not seem to keep up very well. It kind of just keeps the room from getting any hotter, doesn't exactly cool it off unless it is at night. For the price, I am not sure what I expected.

I love it to the max..... My room gets cooler quick when my ac is running for 15mins.

Works great. I only use it in my bedroom during the summer on crazy hot days but it cools the room down quickly. I just wish it was more energy efficient. If I use it only at nights it'll easily double my electric bill from normal.

Perfect for my studio apartment. Only con would be the awkward tubing.

Since the time I started using this product, it was leaking water. I liked it because it set up and installed quickly and easily and it was cooling my suite very fast, but it was always leaking water, such that it ruined my suite's wooden floor and finally I returned it after three weeks (although I used it only during the nights for less than 10 days). It is good if it was not leaking !

I bought this air conditioner for my son's bedroom and it works great! It was a great price and easy to install. You can set it on auto or set the temperature at what you want. It cools very well! Had it about a month and so far no complaints at all. So far so good!

A little hassel getting it but very happy with the unit. Cools my west facing, upstairs room fast, drops temp about 6-8 degrees in 20 minutes or so. Looks nicer than the Home Depot unit, better vent set up, worth the extra $12 I would say.

I've been using this for over a month and I love it. Living on the third floor my bedroom gets really warm in the summer and this A/C keeps it cool so I can sleep. The display is kinda bright but if you can get past that you will be fine. Also this unit in pretty quiet so that wont keep you up. great product and worth the money.
